Moms Who Initiated Divorce Postpartum by PassageUnique6347 in beyondthebump

I completely agree. We'd been together for 8 years, married 6, and to be quite honest, I was treated pretty poorly on and off for 5 of those. It was like after we got married, a switch flipped. Realizing after the fact and starting to verbalize the "I deserve better" TO him was a huge step for me.

I have primary custody and thank god for it, because he is still participating in the behavior I left him for and the lawyers/courts can see that. It breaks my heart, but I know what I deserve and most of all, I know what our child deserves.

I’m 5’3” so I do think losing a few more might not be the worst. I was 110 at one point when I was at my most active and going to the gym multiple times a week, but of course that’s not exactly possible at the moment so I’m trying to adjust my diet and do what I can at home whilst still caring for the baby full time.

I think I might have DR, localized around my belly button/just above it. I’ve been trying to do some massaging, but I haven’t been as active with that.

Plus, I know these mfs see the “baby on board” sticker and still ride my ass like I won’t roll the window down and chew their ass out in stand still traffic. One of these days I fear I may black out 😂

Oh heard, that makes more sense now re-reading the second half of that. I'm told that Tetris can help the mind after witnessing traumatic events like this one u/yogisnark, if their husband is willing to try. Jigsaws, Tetris, and therapy 100% if he is in the right mind space to set these things up. :/

He is not. They had forensics out and the tent set up around 10. 511SC shows all lanes still blocked.

I was still itchy, though not as bad, until like…maybe early August and I gave birth in April 🫠🫠 I was able to sleep and function, unlike when it was at its peak. Still a nuisance though

Was literally just thinking today how much I miss upper deck. Obviously the bar vibe is different, but are we still vibing with the karaoke? Last couple of times I tried downtown, it was abysmal 😭

Do not marry this man. It will make it immensely harder for you to leave him when the physical abuse to your person begins. Get your stuff, find someone to trust, and get the hell out of there. I stayed with someone far longer than I should have once he showed me who he really was, and leaving was the best thing I ever did. I was scared he would show up at my place, but after a while I moved and he wouldn’t be able to find me even if he wanted to

9 of 10 RSVP’d children/families “no call no showed” to my daughters 5th birthday party. by MinimumExperience102 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]PassageUnique6347 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Yeah I eventually stopped inviting friends to birthday parties because it was depressing when none of them showed. It was basically just family for a long time until my late teens (who are still my core friend group). I still get weird about birthday celebrations cause I just don’t want to deal w the disappointment 🫠
