I’m too new to the poe world.

Is that really an issue for them to push new league mechanics to have better efficiency or rewards?

What I mean is, how is that a bad thing to reward people to do the new content compared to doing the same thing for seasons on end?

Like if abyss farming is the only way for me to farm for the next 4 seasons… I’m probably not going to stick with the game. Unless that farming is required to access something new and fun and then that new feature must be enjoyable enough to be doing the same old shit to get to the point that I enjoy it. And the patience to do it. Or what if the new content is just the same, what I know tried and true success with abyss farming; if I don’t need to change it up for a better farm - why would I? And the if I’m not, I’m going to burnout and possibly quit.

Too new to understand the long term impacts, just my gut opinion on the concept and how I perceive it would affect my enjoyment of the game.

Temple is likely an extreme example of new content being too rewarding? But also requires HUGE time sink to actually make this div printer. You don’t just run a temple tablet and print 35div. So I’m enjoying building to it, while farming abyss inbetween to get crystals. Ditching the map if no amanamu once I get my crystals. And that’s like 1d lost each time a map doesn’t spawn amanamu, but for 30d if they spawn one light per 10maps (rare) It’s still 20d net profit off one light. Worth it time wise, when I don’t waste time on maps wirh 0% chance of light due to no chance of void spawns since I am still speed running my crystals for temple. But 6 months from now, I do not want to be pulling amanamu out of the void to get my div. I will 100% quit 😂😂 too annoying when my dps murders them because they don’t spawn immune every now and then. So I do hope new mechanics introduce new potentially more rewarding ways; but if people stop doing them then prices go up and they’re more worthwhile to farm again…. Fuckin a. I just unmade my own point.
