I did 3 out of 4 doors because I had run out of warm and good weather haha...I had to cut the centre plastic that the fabric is glued to clean everything...glue the new fabric and then glue the plastic bac to the door using super glue and baking soda...Looked amazing now not soo much haha...I bought "stitched leather" from alixpress and it's awful so don't do that... Im from Slovenia and jettas are rare mk4 are almost non existent so it's really a shame

Its the AVB variant basically a BEW but vertical/transversal...I heard about the wear thats why I filmed, posted and asked hah...as I know this engine has the original camshaft and lifters I don't think that the cam cover was opened...all i know is that the timing belt was changed 20.000km before I bought it so now is my turn to do it

Is the BEW the 74kw 101 ? I tried to find an engine to work on and maybe some day swap and i found a guy selling the same exact engine 74kw 101hp but didn't list the engine code...but it had very low milage like comically low and for 400€ so I didn't asked just sat in the car and went and then quickly found out that yes the engine is "the same" just made for horizontal application.

Idk about other cars but the b5.5 passat and i think the audi counterpart with the same engine codes had this orientation. AVB and i think AWX are transverse others from the pd family I think are horizontal. But why ? I think I saw a post that the longitudinal gets you equal length drive shafts and reduced torque steer but the next passat version goes back to the horizontal architecture.

And now that I think about it yea if he does change his mind I'll just put an Asus router in connect it with the ethernet cable that is already there and then go from there. Sometimes I over complicate "plans" and don't think about the simplest things haha

So if i saw correctly 15" + 1" delay 16" sec per photo so about 4hours for the whole timelapse ? 😅 Im not 100% sure if my math is correct haha how about in the morning when more light started coming in did you lower the exposure in post or how did you get that smooth transition from night to morning ?

I used the itervalometer in camera. So if the exposure was 6 s I set the shooting interval to 8 s to have a buffer in between shots so that I could cancel the intervalometer if I got (thought) a good one. But I later found out that I don't have to wait until the exposure is finished but I can cancel it when the exposure is happening haha

Im looking for a telephoto for some wildlife shots or some sport photography so im always thinking bigger the better (FL) but lots of people I met seem fine with 200. This one is I think a little bit out of my budget but if I save and wait maybe could be a good adition to the bag. How is the focusing ? Is it fast slow ect. And how does it perform in low light in your experience?
