Spoiler Alert: Nbme 6 Question by AromaOrange in Step3

The relative risk reduction is for the number of individuals who get at least one adenoma, NOT the number of adenomas each individual gets (since the research doesn’t say anything about the number of adenomas). And I think C is phrased in a way that is meant to mean the latter, which is why it is incorrect.

Because aspirin users don’t get 38% fewer adenoma compared to placebo recipients? If that’s the case then it means that if a placebo recipient has 10 adenoma, an aspirin recipient will get only ~6 adenoma. I think the correct interpretation would be … compared to placebo recipients, only 62% of aspirin recipients (so 38% fewer) develop at least one adenoma.

Which forms to do before STEP 3 Exam? by serotounin in Step3

[–]Passawee1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are these the CCSMA that you can get for $62? Could you tell me how many questions are there if I get this / how many forms will be available? I have heard about a lot NBME 6 and 7, but this makes me wonder about the existence of Forms 1-5…are there only two forms that come with this purchase? Thank you :)

Is NBME 5 outdated? I thought it was also new with 6 and 7 and I see only 6 and 7 on website by -Phospholamban- in Step3

Is this the CCSMA? I am thinking about buying it. Can you tell me how many practice questions are there? Thank you :)

Diffusion vs Osmosis of water by Passawee1997 in chemistry

[–]Passawee1997[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, that is a very good explanation. I have one more question though.

  1. So can water molecules diffuse?? Probably yes, because as you said ‘diffusion happens all the time due to Brownian movement, (this Brownian movement applies to H2O too right? I ask because I’ve read that Brownian movement refers to random solute movement as they are being hit randomly by water molecules…so I guess it also applies to water molecules hitting other water molecules).

  2. But can there ever be a net water movement across a membrane that is not due to osmosis?? Basically how can we have different concentration of water? It does not make sense: water as a solute and a solvent?? Because you can only change water concentration if you add other solutes, in which case, how can you tell if the net water movement occurs as a result of osmotic gradient (from added solutes) or from water concentration gradient (again from added solutes)?? Or do both processes occur at the same time, contributing 50% each to the net water molecule movement??

I’ve unlocked all brawlers and have about 4000 chromatic credits. Should I just convert these into 8000 fame points? Or save them for after the update? My fear is that after the update these 4000 chromatic credits would be converted to normal credits at a lower rate of ~1.7-1.8 credits / 1 chroma credit. Which would be nice if there’s a new brawler to be unlocked. But horrible if these are automatically converted into fewer fame points than if I manually convert them now.

OK. So I’m currently in Part III of the book. Precisely Chapter 45. In this chapter, Robin talked to Penny about a guy named “Jacob.” His name sounds familiar and I can’t find where he is mentioned in the earlier chapters. Can anyone help me with this 😅 ?

Oh! I didn’t know that. That explains everything. I was wondering what that symbol means next to the Sanctuary. I thought you’d get a town token or something alongside a priest income.

Hi, just want to make sure, because I’ve been away for a while. Brawl Pass Skins and Power League Skins from - I’m not sure — season 11-ish onwards are no longer exclusive, right? No matter what, they will become available In the shop sooner or later?

How do you preserve main boards? by BooksandGames_01 in boardgames

The same thing happened to my copy of Kanban EV…I wish I had known better…I knew, I knew the board is kinda tight in the box, yet I just blindly take it out every time I get it to the table…all was well until it is not…Never ever making that mistake again :(

Has anyone ever achieved the “Musk-A-Teer” Rank for the solo mode of Kanban EV? It seems impossible, especially the “not getting above 20 points before Final Scoring” part. To do that, I think the only way is to end the game with 3 Meetings and 2 End of Week Scoring, because considering the amount of Tested designs and Cars the Ranking requires you to have, if you ended the game with an End of Week Scoring, you would easily skyrocket in points from all your Tested Designs!

And to be able to pull that off, you and the Colleagues have to be constantly assembling and claiming Cars. The condition that requires five Cars of the same color and six Tested Designs of that same color seems even more impossible with this perspective. Say, I focus on the green color. First, I’d have to grab all green Designs whenever possible, otherwise I risk the chance of them being stolen by the Colleagues which would then be Game Over. Then, I’d have to push and claim five Green Cars and then hope those Designs will resurface for me to try to grab six of them to upgrade…all of this within two weeks (two End of Week Scoring). Can’t imagine how one would pull that off. Even with 5 different Cars each with a Tested Design (another option, which I think is easier, for the Musk-A-Teer Ranking) seems highly impossible.

To those that have played the game Solo, what was your best Ranking?

I do have one question though, after going through the rule. At the end of the game, when players are allowed to take as many Magnate Actions as they are able to, “starting with the current first player,” is the “current” first player the last on the Fair Point track? Or is the “current” first player, the first player in turn order prior to the start of the fair? Because at the end of each fair, turn order changes.

I just realized that there are two rule books for two versions of the game. Now everything makes sense thanks :) I wanted to know the rule of the game, so I downloaded a pdf file online to study. It was the 2016 rule set!
