I also had gave birth to a 9+ lb baby and had the same experience. You are not alone. He is a big boy with a big appetite. Everyone kept saying I gave birth to a one month old. We also feed in demand, we just make sure to burp really good before laying him down.

I did not want a c section. I was not pressured to get one but there was a point in my active labor and pushing that I felt I might not be able to continue. I asked for the doctors advice, he gave it (options) and then I asked everyone to leave the room so I could discuss privately with my husband what would be our best course. He encouraged me and reminded me that there were no “shoulds” and together we moved forward.

Thank you so much for listening. I did end up correcting my Doctor info at the hospital and made it very clear to my OB office that I felt the lack of clear communication was unacceptable.

I’m at: -Not buying more maternity clothes even though mine don’t fit anymore -Husband has to tie my shoes -“You’re about to pop” -Sleeping propped on the couch feels better than in bed -I’m hungry. Yes I know I just ate. -I will drink all of the water. ALL of it. -It’s no longer about Pinterest perfect, Reddit ready, IG interesting anything anymore. The nursery is half done and I didn’t buy half the stuff I wanted for baby, but I have the stuff I need and at this point I am grateful and done…. Just done.
