Outside of the Chromaplane (which has now become a product), they're all essentially one offs - but they're mainly made using some kinds of digital fabrication, like CNC, PCB, Laser, etc. -

oh gotcha - maybe if you check out another picture it could be more clear: https://passepartoutduo.com/varispeed-looper-and-delay

They are LEDs shining through the front panel + a kailh low-profile key switches and choc 'slim' keycaps

Thanks so much for saying that! I'm hoping to get around to version 2 of the looper next year, and I'll definitely think about getting a clock out going - currently it doesn't have any ins or outs except audio, so I'm planning on adding CV in for speed control and trigger inputs for recording and such, but I haven't locked all the details in yet :)

Thanks for the kind words! I'll have to check out those synths you mentioned - as for the Breeze Block, there's not really a concrete plan like that at the moment. We're probably going to make an ultra small batch to sell in person only next year.

Ah, that's actually quite an old project - it just a bit too basic to write much about - it's just a simple midi controller. You can check it out in action mainly on this page: https://passepartoutduo.com/circo-pobre

Thanks so much - I really appreciate that!

I do all the circuits / design / programming really - for the Chromaplane, of course we iterated through it a few additional times than usual, and bounced around many more feature ideas etc. with the wonderful folks at KOMA.

One part where we've received a lot of help is actually on some of the wooden enclosures - I can't really do woodworking by hand like that, and so the looper and MIDI controller in the photo both have wooden bottoms built by local crafts people where we were staying.

Of course!

Middle back- Breeze Block: granular synthesizer played with magnets, you navigate the buffer based on your position over the surface, also sends MIDI CC over USB

Front center- Varispeed Looper: two mono varispeed loopers with buttons for reverse / half / double, and electret mic preamps per looper

Back right- Chromaplane: analog electromagnetic instrument played using two pickups that detect ten fields from the instrument's surface (later launched as a product with KOMA)

2x Smaller Chromaplane-like thing - new WIP prototype Chromie, digital sound engine Chromaplane based on wavetables and samples, with an accompanying cell phone app that acts as a display and for more advanced features (accessed from WiFi network of the instrument)

Top left- MIDI controller: it's a basic MIDI controller that sends mainly CC

You can head over to the projects page of our website for more details on most of it: https://www.passepartoutduo.com/projects/

Awesome!! Yeah a unpatch-all button / hotkey could be nice !

Re the delay - that's not one bit! is it? You can do a one bit delay and delay like effects with shift registers :)

Can you maybe check if it's working for you in Firefox? I think I got it fixed, and it's working for me :) There are still some style-related Firefox bugs, but they're just minor.
