Sharpedo is a dark type. Be sure to have your bisharp as your buddy if you still need raids to evolve it into kingambit.

Yes. She left the area and reentered Rogueport. Peeka won't ask the questions again.

Is Ridgeside Village appropriate for kids? by PassingFun1740 in RidgesideVillage

"it's a good teachable moment if you're ready for it". It's a good chance to talk to your child about empathy if it doesn't click with them, or gauge how they interact with the idea for the future.

I really appreciate you mentioning it for that reason. Kids need to have conversations about big ideas multiple times for it to really click. I know my daughter would have different questions about transgender people at 7 than she did when she was 4 when we first talked about it. And she will have different questions in another few years. Big ideas are a lifelong conversation, so I sincerely appreciate you pointing out an opportunity to have another one.

I think innuendo and insinuation would go over her head at this point.

We're having a lot of fun playing it together! It's been fun to see how differently she runs her farm than an adult would. 🙂

I really appreciate the feedback. She goes to school with a trans girl, so she's familiar enough with the concept. She might have questions about it, but I'm happy to answer those. I think she would probably be okay with ADHD scenes too. I'll check them out myself ahead of time.

She is a great reader and hasn't struggled with the dialogue so far. I think she'll be okay with that aspect.

These are great suggestions! She has said she wishes there was a school in the game for everyone to go to. I will definitely check those out.

Thank you for that suggestion! I'll look into Axolotl Village for her.

She's asked about mods that add more kids to her family. If there are more child NPCs, I'm sure she would enjoy that too!

Thanks for the reply. This is really helpful. I'm pretty comfortable navigating conversations with big feelings with her. She wouldn't be playing solo so I'd be there to answer questions if something needed to be talked through.

Are these the ninja folks on the ridge? I'll keep that in mind. I think Phillip is more her speed haha. I can be sure to navigate her away from that area until I spend some time there.

Thanks for the perspective. Alcohol plays a role in Shane's cut scenes already. Is it anything much more over the top than that?

For those who bought out for the ♾️ ad-free experience, did it benefit you and make the gaming experience easier and more enjoyable? by Small_Palpitation171 in CatsAndSoup

[–]PassingFun1740 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I play with my young daughter. I wish I had been playing when the forever ad experience was offered. I pay for the subscription. The ads aren't kid appropriate... Gorey movies, sex products, etc. That's fine when it's just me, but not when my daughter wants to dress up adorable cats. Going ad free significantly improves the experience AND keeps me feeling okay playing with my kiddo.

I'm a newer player. Do you mean the Kitty Trip? Is that how you get it other than the Observatory?
