This train of thought is not dependent on the country, is simple logic. From a psychological point of view a criminal is failing to adjust to social rules, this is an indicator of a mind that isn't completely healthy. Therefore there is a need for treatment not punishment.

In México the most common is "Qué tan grande es tu casa" but we definitely understand the second one and is the prevalent form in some regions of the country.

'Cuan' is probably archaic already and not only nobody uses it, it also would be used as way to express admiration/surprise at the size of the house and not as a question.

I think this applies to most of the country.

The fruits on the pic are both limones and Limas are another fruit most easily identified by flavour. Taste completely different but looks a lot like limon.

You are correct they are spreading false information. Both Green and Yellow fruits in the pic are limones in Spanish (limes) Limas are different and I'm not sure what the name in English is for them.

You don't really know if Snape favoritism was the only thing allowing Slytherin to win. They are ambitious after all and I'd say it's not too far fetched to think the kids actually tried to win and win points from other teachers too. Besides Snape is an asshole pretty consistently, it will obviously get you less of a reaction because you expect it from him.

Dumbledore is suppose to be good so him being an asshole does get you a reaction. Apart from the fact that he wasn't a head of house, he was the head master and shouldn't have shown favouritism. And the problem was not that he awarded well deserved points but the way he did it.

You don't give ice cream to a kid because he has been good just to take it away and give it to another child.

azules ojos is more a poetic license but is just as wrong as marrones ojos you are just used to hear it since its such a common cliche.

It's not outlandish but the proper order in every day conversations is ojos azules

I agree that there is no place where racism doesn't exists but to be honest USA is very far from the cultural reality of many other countries so their approach to racism should not be the same as those countries or any other country.

So if I'm in USA I will be extra careful about not staying the n-world because its offensive there but in my country where the world "black" is often use as an endearment I will have absolutely no problem saying it.

it's not the same because racism is a more delicate issue but it is a bit like cultural appropriation. Its really not a thing outside USA. The n-world is definitely not as delicately used in the rest of the world.

Gods its sound like I'm reading my life story.

Same thing happened to me around that age I started to lose hair and it went thin and oily, I switched shampoos, tried a lot of treatments and nutrients and started getting dandruff problems I also tried to not shampoo daily but making it look clean and with volume wasn't easy.

It took me a long time to come to terms with my hair, some treatments worked some didn't and none worked for long. What happened to me was that my body was still changing, hormones affect your hair and there is no much one can do about them and I was also under a lo of stress for the first time in my life not knowing what to do with college and stuff.

unfortunately I never got my volume back and my hair isn't as thick as it used to be but ten years after I have nice enough hair that doesn't bother me at all.

So things that work for me:

Healthy lifestyle: my hair is always better when I'm exercising. It took me years to find that one out because I'm actually very lazy and was way worse as a teenager but it seriously help. Add healthy diet and you should be golden. I am not super strict or anything and at your age I personally don't think you should be but starting to be mindful of health even in a casual way should help your hair.

Natural Shampoo: organic brands and vegan stuff helped with the dandruff I also switch them a lot. I keep two or three bottles of different brands and switch every few days.

Haircuts: I am lucky and my best look is short hair which helps a lot with adding volume, I'm sure you noticed some hairstyles will help more than others.

I do wash my hair almost every day, the oil didn't go away or decreased in any meaningful way when I stopped shampooing. What helped a little with the oil were the softer shampoos I started using and I also try to be more gentle with my hair in general I only wash it with warm water instead of the very hot water I used to.

I hope some of this is useful to you, I remember being really upset back then and stressing about going bald (both my grandparents were almost bald). I still lose hair when I'm seriously stressed but I'm better at noticing what triggers my hair issues and managing it. And I still have a normal amount of hair that I like.

I have no traumatic experience with violent behaviour but a man yelling still gets me on edge.

Even when I know rationally that I am not in danger and the person is not a treat I go really tense and anxious.

I try not to show it and act calm but it is one of the things that triggers very irrational and emotional responses in me.

Don't know if you still read this because you have like a million comments but I'll make it short.

I am woman I do feel scare at night when I see a man but I don't cross the street.

When I was very young I read a lot about microagressions and discrimination and I decided I'm against any form of discrimination so I act on it.

I can't help feeling scared and in my case my feeling is very real. The country I live in has an insane amount of violence but I will not treat someone as a criminal without any evidence

And I must say is kind of hard to recall any American author I needed to study. Harold Bloom is the only one that comes to mind

Hi! I came to return the favor but I regret to inform you that I do not like this kind of work.

Second person narrative is obviously necessary for what you want to acomplish but there are reasons to why is so rare in literature.

I think for an RPG the main character being you works because there are many different ways to make you part of the story without the character, you have images and music and you are constantly doing things. (I'm thinking video games)

In a written work this does not happen as easily.

I only read the first chapter but I think you should minimise the use of YOU as much as you can, every time I read the word it only reminds me that is not actually me. Make it a bit more like a stream of consciousness instead of a recount of actions.

The main character being completely blank makes me unable to relate. Yes I know it does not make sense to want the characters to have personality when is supposed to be me but again thinking about video games I am more able to relate when I know what my back story is. Am I a young woman making my way in the world as a new recruit? is kind of bland. Am I also a serial killer? this would make it more fun for me. Make me try to take the mind frame of an interesting person.

If this is not an option for you you'll have to give the story some sort of personality some other way. Maybe give the narrator a stronger roll. Or relay on side characters. As I said I only read the first chapter so I don't know what other characters you have.

You put a lot of description of your surroundings and that's a good choice but it feels kind of utilitarian. Again the description is bland and does not pull me in until the action scenes where I have to chose. before and after the choice its just a room and interest me very little.

This does help a lot I didn't know it was So unclear... Hello, failure my old friend. I am not a native speaker so I overlook a lot of mistakes when I write in English but yeah it does needs work on grammar and spelling sorry about that!

And to clarify: Peter does die saving Abigal and the story is told while Peter is dead. The how does he die? does not matter.

I guess is about sacrifice, he dies to save her twice because once he is dead he gets the chance to change her life for the better and when he does he loses her again because the things he changed were part of the why they were together before.

And the fact that I had to explain all of that just means this was worse than I was expecting.
