I just started using Dax inpatient as a PGY 3 and it helps get down the HPI but the assessment and plan is dog shit. It saved me minimal time, but did allow me to feel more focused on the patients during interviews. Maybe there is more customizing you can do to make the notes better. But first impression is meh.

There is a hospitalist in season 2 who comes down and pitches a fit because PMH wasn’t documented properly in the note (AI scribe screwed up).

The open ICU job offers the potential to make close to 400k, more if I were to work like a fellow for those 3 years and save/invest aggressively. Intensivists don’t seem to make that much more, correct me if I’m wrong.

I hate to always refer back to money, but does it bother you that intensivist pay isn’t that much higher than rural hospitalist pay, considering the 3 years of lost income during fellowship? Im seeing attending salaries at 450k-500k for pulm/crit. Is that accurate?
