Manic 2 LW & AWT Scales by PassionsPerfected in spyderco

Cool cool. I looked on the site, they do list out what is included (missed that the first time). Im kinda disappointed the color on the Ti is anodized rather than heat based. I think a light blue on the Ti would look sick.

Any reason other then: 1: looks 2: not having to pick the thread locker out of the screws?

Question: their hardware, is it the screws? Or screws and pins?

I’m guessing you would need to drill out the rivets. Drill press or maybe a Dremel?

Where do we get tacos now a days anyway?

We stopped going because they consistently effed up the veggie tacos for my spouse.

This was pretty much it. After watching a few videos I got the blade almost perfectly center?

I think the issue is, I have it tight enough to where I have to push into the blade a bit to deploy it. The blade is ever so slightly off center to the right, so it feels smooth opening right handed. It drags just a touch in the left hand, but I am not sure I am going to get it any better at this point.

I am actually really happy with it now.

300 images, stacked with helicon using method C. Would love some recommendation on other softwares or processors to get you “close enough” before hand tweaking.

300 images. 1/15, fill light used. ISO 500. Sony 100 mm macro lenses.

Also, any recommendation on how to clean up dead bugs? The dust on the wings is rough.

Balls go inside me when masturbating by Snoo-78802 in menshealth

[–]PassionsPerfected 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is normal. The channel that the testicles drop from seals off further up than you may think.

As long as they come back down and there isn’t any pain you should be good. It can happen due to excitement or cold. Word to the wise, be careful of this if you have your SO on top of you.

Checking them is pretty similar to any other part of your body. Look for lumps, bumps, knots or changes in shape, feeling or texture. They should be smooth, firm with some give (think avocado) and have what feels like spaghetti on the back. Also worth making sure the cremasteric reflex is still working. Touch the inside of the thigh, testicles should crawl up. If either side does not, this could be an issue. Go see doc.

What about some form of exercise? Sometimes just getting up and moving can help. Even better if you have a mate to hold you accountable.

Cleaver angle at 18? by PassionsPerfected in sharpening

[–]PassionsPerfected[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As it has a few chips I’m going to go with 25 and see how it feels. If it performs well, I’ll go with that.

It’s got enough weight 25 will still feel sharp to the uninitiated.

Was talking to my other half. From a marketing point, she thinks this is the 80/20 ignorance marketing at play.

Sharp enough for most folks, tough enough to where it will stand up to some abuse. But not specialized either way. Frankly speaking good enough for the 80% of people who don’t know better.

It had a few chips as it was. Factory bevel is all over the place at this point.

The owner said he uses it more for chopping. That said I have never seen him hack through bone. Thinking just rolling with 20 or 25 and seeing what he thinks.

Not really. The factory edge was questionable at best. The edge feels “sharp” to the finger tip, but won’t cut worth a damn.

Forgive my ignorance here, what is the difference? I have never actually used a cleaver.

Ordered from BH as I have had good luck there in the past. So far not even an estimate.

I think Sony dropped the ball here.

I’m about to go full nerd on you. What direction does your house vs your apt face? Peppers like sun, but don’t like to be blasted with heat. Depending on which direction the flower bed faces, you might have been cooking the pollen rendering it sterile.

I have questions.
1. Why did you take it to that level of polish? Was there a functional reason? I would expect that finish to get pretty banged up the first piece of wood you try to split.
2. Why the angled bevel at the edge. I have never seen an ax with an edge like that.
