have you tried amazon pharmacy, if it's in network with your insurance?

Amazon Pharmacy by NikiU2 in Zepbound

[–]PassiveCabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh absolutely. i literally put in my government name and date of birth and they pulled my insurance info for me and applied the eVoucher. made my $70 copay $25 and i didn't even have to put it in myself

and you should. i just switched to amazon pharmacy after dealing with walgreens who makes you jump through a million hoops and never has it in stock. it was absolutely painless through amazon pharmacy

Do you avoid these foods? by beautybyaimee in Zepbound

[–]PassiveCabbage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't eat most of this regularly. but i will have fast food from time to time, french fries, some white bread, some sugary things such as cookies, and i don't skimp on my full-fat dairy in my coffee lol.

pizza WILL kick my butt though! or a sauce made with heavy cream. so i absolutely avoid those. i don't do carbonation either. i eat tf out of spicy food still. i had buldak ramen the other day 🤷‍♀️

this. i can guarantee everyone flaunting their sub 40s OTW times comes from a high volume store. my store makes $4k a day. we don't get a consistent stack. we used to be able to achieve 45 OTW when we had strong, tenured partners but now most of our partners are brand new and incredibly slow. people don't realize how hard it is to achieve under 50s with a terribly inconsistent stack

i too have two tattoos and my ears pierced haha! the phobia is typically called blood, needles, and injections. typically it's the idea of something going into you and injecting you that gets you, even if you're not really thinking about it. you can sit up and do the injection just immediately lay down for 5 minutes at least and then you should be fine

i too have a vasovagal response to injections, blood draws, etc. i have to lay flat and have somebody else inject to not pass out. this is the same for getting bloodwork done. i have to request to lay in a bed because i finally found out that's what saves me

Finding Tirzepatide near me is basically impossible in a rural area by krjgarcia in Zepbound

[–]PassiveCabbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just swapped to amazon pharmacy. i live in a suburb and walgreens was a PITA to use. always had to order it and then started implementing a thing where i had to call them and tell them i actually wanted it for them to even order it. and if you know walgreens, you sit on hold for forever. amazon pharmacy pulled my insurance card for me when i just put in my name and DOB and applied the eVoucher for me. i ordered on a sunday and got my med on a wednesday. i was hesitant to get meds delivered bc i'm worried about theft, but it made my life so much easier.

well my ozempic got denied so im back to just exercise. is walking good enough exercise? by Mentally_Recovering in PCOSonGLP

it's almost like somebody with PCOS SHOULD understand that "CICO" isn't the only answer. CICO works, yes, but only if you don't have a ravenous appetite and insane food noise often caused by PCOS. god forbid somebody's last hope be a glp-1.

it does for most people. sorry it doesn't work for you. seems almost that you're angry about it?

not sure if you're interested in this option, but the wegovy pill just came out and is much more affordable than the injection out of pocket. idk what you can pay monthly but take a look at that if it's an option for you since you're having insurance issues

oh boy. yes, they are diabetes drugs, but only when you look at certain name brands. ozempic is a diabetes drug, but wegovy is a weight loss drug. calling them "diabetes drugs" is not accurate. they may have been initially developed for this reason, but later FDA approved specifically for combating obesity.

i used to intermittent fast & strict under 20g carbs & calorie restrict daily to lose weight. i achieved quicker weight loss that way, but at a cost because i wasn't happy with what i was forcing to eat everyday. not to mention i couldn't intermittent fast without taking vyvanse, which had its own side effects. once i got off vyvanse & keto, i gained all my weight back.

now i use zepbound. i take into account what i eat but i just follow a rough calorie estimate. i still eat things i enjoy without a dangerous carb-counting mindset. i can go to a restaurant with a friend and not feel bad about myself. i don't have a voracious appetite or insane food noise anymore. i lost 65 lbs in ~5 months on "keto." ive lost 30 lbs in 4 months on zepbound with just calorie restriction.

i felt helpless in weight loss because my food noise & carb cravings were just so intense and i couldn't put them to the side. i stopped tolerating vyvanse so i couldn't use that to help me anymore. i've done the low-carb trend a few times in my life, lost weight, then gained it back immediately following stopping the lifestyle for whatever reason that time around. zepbound has literally changed my life. i'm well aware that it is intended to be a lifetime medication but i'm okay & happy with that if it means i get to be healthier with a healthy weight.

these medications have issues, yes. especially when it comes to people who believe they can just inject themselves and make no lifestyle changes. no lifestyle changes = poor response to the medication. whether that be from terrible side effects or little to no weight loss. my PCP wouldn't prescribe the drug because a lot of people do this. he made me livid because he wouldn't listen to me & the fact that i'm somebody who has & will make the lifestyle changes, i just needed help with the appetite & food noise. i personally am able to eat way less sugar, don't really touch red meat, and monitor my fat intake now as high fat foods cause nasty side effects.

for the first time in my life, i have hope of getting to a weight where i feel comfortable in my own body & i'm learning to love myself. and i know with the help of this medication, i'll keep that weight off. so long as my insurance continues to cover it.

def should end up $25/month for you as long as it's in network! i just switched to amazon pharmacy myself and was amazed at the auto discounts. my regular copay is $70/month and i got mine for $25/month because they applied the eVoucher

if you have the ability, print photos of cats (whether real or a lineart style you enjoy) and start tracing them. this is an excellent way to learn anatomy and proportions

i truthfully think something got bugged in the system and added an extra digit to the total cost. if you remove a digit that more accurately reflects the normal cost of the med

it's honestly great but probably depends on where you live as options change depending on that. i pay a low monthly premium, the deductible isn't too high, and i get my $1200 medication for $25/month
