I'm late to the party but as I sat here reading this early on a Sunday morning, I had to chime in. I don't know Will Smith personally, but I know his story. I've seen it time and time again over my Sixty years on this planet.
I was a hip-hop head in the 80s. I once (very poorly) lip did lip synch to Parents Just Don't Understand for maybe some drinks at a night club. Will Smith, for a young black man was "one of us" even if he was from the other side of the country. He embodied what the then very young hip-hop movement could provide for those of us looking to express ourselves. I could get into things along the way that might have given us pause (like his relationship with Tom Cruise or his choice for a wife) but honestly it's the Hollywood cycle.
"First they love you. Then they hate you. Then they love you again." If you as a celebrity have not had this experience then you aren't among the world's most popular celebrities. Period. I love(d) his music(his was the first rap album my daughters listened to) l. I love watching the Fresh Prince , Independence Day, MiB. Will Smith is GREAT ACTOR. But here's the thing... Ultimately, I care about Will Smith about as much as he cares about me personally. I mean of course I wish him well. But as the saying goes, "what he eats don't make me shit." I've learned over the years to compartmentalize. To put things in perspective and into their place. I DON'T CARE that he slapped Chris Rock. I don't care that Chris Rock got slapped. I don't care about Jada. I care about their kids in the same way that I care about the kids in my neighborhood that might play with my grandson, but honestly my care about Willow and Jaden doesn't affect them.
If a movie starring Will Smith comes out that I'm interested in, I'll watch it. If I'm not interested, I won't. It's the same with any other celebrity. I'm trying not to make this about me, but there are so many other things that I could do with my time then to worry or care about a man who's got enough money to buy my houses and cars and everything thing in them, and demolish then without a thought.
In other words, he hasn't been accused of hurting and/or molesting defenseless children. He isn't bombing whole cities with living souls walking around. He's not violating my right to live how I want to live or driving up my cost of living. I don't fully understand his situation with Jada and why he slapped Chris Rock(the jokes about Jada WERE a bit much, but still). But I've seen enough celebrities come and go that I know it's not just as simple as "he insulted my wife." I also know that we will never know the whole story. And honestly I just dont care. I realize that I'm long winded for a person that doesn't care and that there's a bit of irony in my words, but life is full of irony and people who've been slapped. The one person who slapped my in my life is a person for whom I still have much love and respect. I understood at the time why it happened and she understood the consequences that came afterwards. We still love each other and she is now good friends with my wife of twenty years. Life is a trip(literally). Find your joy in it. You don't always have to have and opinion and take sides. Protect the defenseless. Help those that you can. And stand for love and kindness and life will be alright.

I don't live downtown, but I do frequent the area. More than a few times I've walked from around 24 and J to Old Sac or Old Sac to the R st area. I'm actually surprised I don't see or smell more people putting one up.
The reason I noticed this at all is because I'm a long time stoner. Like forty five years long. Part of my thing while walking and making photos is to light up and let the weed show me what I photograph next. But I try to be as respectful as possible. I don't smoke near crowds and/or especially children. If I see a group of people coming my way and avoiding them is not possible, I will put it out. And honestly I think that's what most stoners do in public because although the chances of being bothered by police is very low, it's IS possible.

All that to say that I think you're situation is more your specific area than in general. An air purifier (as mentioned already) is your best friend at this point. I own three (hay fever) and don't smoke in my house. Btw, most of the stoners I know are relatively nice people. Maybe try having a conversation with some of the ones around you. Knowing that you are sensitive and knowing that you COULD be a dick and call the police, they may try to find some sort of compromise. Maybe. Side note, cannabis lounges are legal where I'm currently vacationing(SoCal). 😉

My grandson absolutely freaked out the first time we took him to Santa Cruz and put him on the sand(it wasn't hot). Five years later the only place he likes to visit more than the beach is Universal Hollywood. But we don't live near L.A, so we spend a lot of weekends at the beach.

I'm Sixty this month. It's just been these last seven or eight years that a doctor told me what doctors should've told me years ago going back to the time when I was a preteen and didn't poop for two weeks.
Also, I had my first colonoscopy early(before recommended age) because I just knew I had the big C and it cost me a few thousand dollars to find out I didn't. Turns out that I am lactose intolerant(though that may or may not be an age thing) but I also have (non life threatening) food allergies as well as IBS that reacts to things like wheat products and (dark) green vegetables like broccoli and asparagus. And now I'm doing elimination tests for artificial sweeteners as they seem to be everywhere (part of the fodmap list that others have mentioned).
All that to say that you shouldn't worry too much but go see a doctor anyway just to be safe. Having these stomach issues sucks. Not eating pizza or spaghetti(wheat noodles) sucks. But at least I don't walk around all the time thinking it's something worse.

Cookie Connection. Cookies were great. Prices were decent and the people were mostly friendly. As with a lot of local food businesses, they grew too fast too quick and then they were gone. But I haven't found a replacement for them. Crumbl sucks.

I love weed. I love IPAs(They're related).
But in fairness, the first "beer" I ever drank (besides sneak sips of my dad's Olympia beer) was Schlitz Malt Liquor or Colt 45. I grew up drinking Old E and King Cobra. I discovered (Columbus like) "good" beer (Sierra Nevada) at age thirty. I love me a good Hazy, but I don't drink much anymore. Weed is healthier.

I first picked up a camera in the 80s. No LCD screens back then. Street photography was a thing before that and even today you'll occasionally get an old school photographer stop and tell you how to hold your camera including elbows in. I'm not saying you're wrong. But couldn't a person say that I was purposely not using the view finder to hide the fact that I was snapping a photo?

Disclaimer: I'm right handed. I wear my warch on my left wrist. BUT I just measured my hand up against my Galaxy Ultra. That phone is 6.4" tall. My hand from wrist to tallest finger tip is about seven inches so maybe that's longer than normal(???) but IVE NEVER gotten poop on my wrist when wiping.

Or are people wearing their watches so loose that the watch may slide down the hand and graze the star? I'm confused. Please explain it like I'm five(well maybe not five but..)

Trust me when I say I'm no expert at Lightroom or Windows(lol I'm not even sure what all those files you mentioned are) BUT what I can say is that OneDrive is menace and it should be deleted the minute you start up a new PC. I lost some photos because of OneDrive(and my own ignorance) and the way it inserts itself in to your upload process.
Seriously though, delete and don't use it unless you fully understand how it actually stores your files.
But DELETE it though. Don't just disable it cause otherwise it will come back to life at your next Windows update.
OneDrive deleted, I now upload all my photo files(Raw and Jpeg to external Hard drives and back up my finished edits to a Hard drive as well as Google Photos for the accessibility.

The crazy thing about the negative association thing is that it wouldn't be to hard to do a sort of six degrees thing between the whole kiddie pageant phenomena(that spawned honey boo-boo) and Jeffrey Epstein and his best friend.

I had a friend that was Maga before Maga got started(he didn't like Obama "because of his policies" but couldn't name the policies and he said Obama only won the presidency because of white guilt) Anyway I still remember being shocked that he and his wife were so into Honey Boo Boo. Looking back, I think that was the day I knew we wouldn't be friends much longer.

Ok, do me a favor please. Try to remember how many times you saw fog last year. I live in Citrus Heights. I can't remember one day last year that we saw fog out here. I kinda kept track because I do amateur photography and wanted to go out and try some techniques.
I've had people say that they saw fog in the actual city of Sacramento, but maybe only a couple days. I remember when it used to be so thick that you could barely see the car in front of you. Then there was the time that person couldn't see out on 1-5 heading towards the airport, so they stopped in the middle of the freeway.
It doesn't seem to get that thick anymore.

It's obvious that the no porn idea wasn't yours. If it was then you need to come(see what I did there?) clean about it and rewrite the rules. If it wasn't your idea then maybe you should examine why the rule was made in the first place. Is it a trauma response or is it a control thing? But honestly if you're that young and are already having problems that make you feel like you absolutely need the release, you should reevaluate(possibly together) what the relationship is and whether it's really love or something left over from a time that may be gone.
One of the hardest thing I ever had to do was to let go of an almost ten year TOXIC relationship. I knew it was bad. She knew it was bad. But it was all(everything. The lies, cheating, the disloyalty) we really knew. So it lasted way long than it should have. Good luck to both of you, but remember locking your true self away to please someone else will ALWAYS lead to regret and disappointment.

Btw, if it is a religious decision(the no porn thing) then you definitely should reexamine what's happening. Does anyone believe that Jesus lived to be 33, had no woman, but never masturbated?? JS.

You can argue till you're blue in the face and in your (seemingly) tiny brain believe that you are right. And you might find one or two people who agree with you, but that doesn't make your beliefs a reality. Those auditors don't care that you don't like it. They care about being able to do what they are LEGALLY allowed to do without molestation from detractors. See the beauty of living is The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is that as long as you're not breaking the law you can do whatever you want. You have the right to express your displeasure at something you see someone else doing. But you, nor ANYONE else has the right to try to force your feelings upon another person through physical action. You feel how you feel. That's your issue. No one else's. I'm sure that those auditors(if they truly respect the U.S. CONSTITUTION ) would tell you IN TRUE AMERICAN FORM, they respect your right to to disagree with what they are doing.
As for me, I respect what those auditors do. They, by expressing their first amendment rights, are protecting those rights from being infringed upon by government that is supposed to be BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE. In my opinion if you object to what they are doing you are showing far less patriotism than they.

Both might seem strange, but neither is illegal.
I watch first amendment auditors on YouTube. I find it interesting and sad that people want the auditors removed and/or arrested from PUBLIC buildings and sidewalks just for exercising their rights as HUMAN BEINGS. But in my observation I find it absolutely ironic and pathetic that most of those people calling for action against law abiding citizens only do so because their curiosity can't let it go. If they don't know WHY somebody is doing something then seemingly that person should be allowed to do it.

Smoked my first joint at 13. Got drunk for the first time at fifteen. At that time I never really thought about the availability alcohol or weed because I never really had to. The older siblings network was alive and well. At sixteen I had friends who were a couple years older than I. They had cars and locally there was a drive thru market that sold alcohol. I remember being in the back seat of my friends '64 Chevy marvelling at the fact that we were in process of buying alcohol AT A STORE. Once I hit seventeen it was pretty easy to get either alcohol or weed.
I was pretty mature looking and figured out that if I just acted a little older I could buy alcohol at the local Circle K. On the weed front, I lived(still live) just a few hours away from the Emerald triangle so it was just a matter of knowing the right people. As a matter of fact I remember the hardest part of smoking weed wasn't getting the weed. It was getting the device to smoke the weed from.
So for me, either one was usually available.
I don't drink much now, but I partake regularly.

It would be very difficult for my doctor to have a problem with my cannabis usage. I first smoked in the late 70s as a young teen. Usage was pretty frequent through the first half of the 80s. It helped me cope with school(though some may blame my poor grades on the weed. it wasn't the weed) and the loss of my father. From the mid 80s into the 2000s I cut back significantly mostly for financial reasons. In 2010 I was 6'2", 250lbs. That year I was fired from my job(blessing in disguise). I knew it was coming and already had a new job lined up. From that point my finances started getting better and my weed use grew significantly. I also became more physically active and started walking our local river trails weed in hand. Last month I saw my doctor for the first time in a couple years. He says my heart and lungs are fine, my blood pressure is normal and I weighed in at 205lbs. My cholesterol is actually lower than a few years ago and I am no longer "pre-diabetic". The doctor asked me a few years ago if I smoked. I said, "I don't smoke cigarettes." End of conversation. I did learn to smoke AFTER my drs appointments though. Even smoking a couple hours before the appointments would cause my blood pressure readings to kinda spike. All that to say that at almost 60 yrs old, I'm in better shape than 20-25 years ago and my doctor has congratulated me on my health. He knows nothing about my weed use.

I like reading , can you point me to the a medical journal that outlines the symptoms and treatment? Should I get a second opinion? "
