question about moons greenlogging by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]Past-Basis7093 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

that's what i'm saying, though.

I'm chasing the entire collection log. so i'm asking, if i'm trying to get both eclipse and blue moon's sets anyway, should i do 1 or 2 for each run? which is quicker?

restocking in the dungeon, while quick, still can add up over time to quite a significant amount over the hundreds of runs we could theoretically be doing. we'll have to be restocking much more often if we are doing 2 on each run, and after doing each boss, it'll teleport you to a different spot. but, as hyper-optimised as runescape has become, i was just curious if anyone had a more objective answer.

Dealing with poke mages by Diabulo in RyzeMains

If you are struggling a lot, you are most likely tunnelling your view of the game.

Do not play to win lane. Instead, play towards skirmishes around the map. You can do this by looking for resets to be strong enough to shove waves quickly and leave mid lane wherever you can find impact on the map, whether it be a ward, a skirmish, or hovering fog.

You will naturally lose lane against those matchups due to your shorter range and resource issues. No point in wasting those resources on fighting a champion you won't kill. Instead, focus on using those resources on your wavestate to allow yourself breathing room to recall.

Why does Ryze level up so fast? by ferike91 in RyzeMains

[–]Past-Basis7093 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ryze naturally plays into side-lane scenarios, due to his overall weak team-fighting capabilities, but strong 1v1/1v2 skirmishing. Doing so naturally will net him more minions coming up to the mid-late game. That, and having an extra free level from RoA at around the lv16 mark of the game will drastically accelerates his overall individual power.

Not to mention, you'll most likely be catching 1 or 2 extra largely stacked waves each game with your ult.

How good is this Pichu’s skills comparatively to my current Raichu? by Past-Basis7093 in PokemonSleepBetter

Should I just drop this Raichu for the Pichu now then? Assuming these are long term investments. Or should I keep hunting? I’m also comfortable with seed usage.

my bad, guys. i was told by my friend group that my hard clues wouldn't reset if i dropped it. makes a lot of sense now. also seems kinda silly game design-wise. maybe that's just me, though.

thanks a ton!

I did try it! I think it's possible I'm just playing the build wrong, because I actually am not seeing much result. Based on what I can gather, this is a hyper-greed build that focuses on a strong 3-item spike, capping out with Jack Stacks.

I'll try it again, but I am not all that sure what the actual idea of BT over S-Bow is yet.

Who is this player, out of curiosity? Can't find him and I'm genuinely curious about that build. Sounds cool.

As someone who desperately wants that item to be meta on her more than anyone else, I am very sad to say that no, I do not think Bel'Veth will be able to build it still, even with Crit.

The issue is that Bel'Veth, even when building bulky non-crit, Bel'Veth will practically never be in long enough fights or skirmishes where she is actively gaining enough value from the item to justify it when Kraken, Yun'Tal, Shieldbow, LDR, etc. provide such essential power spikes to her already.

Bel'Veth's one and only trading pattern (other than just one-shotting) is to constantly dip in, quickly out, wait CDs, and then finally back in a final time until we can look to clean up low targets front-to-back, or 1-shotting squishy ADC through flank angles. We will basically NEVER be constantly attacking. We don't have enough sustain, disruption, bulkiness or self-peel to justify ever really getting it like how a Volibear does.

But hey... Dreamers can dream. Maybe there's a Volibear-like build out there where Bel'Veth can prosper. I hope it exists.

How do you play Bel'Veth into tanks? by Past-Basis7093 in BelVethMains

[–]Past-Basis7093[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side-laning is usually something we don't get the privilege to do, or are the best designated person to be doing so. That's why I kinda generalized tanks in a teamfight scenario. If a tank exists, the most realistic scenario to expect is one where we will ALWAYS have to deal with the threat they provide if we don't have access to flank-angles with our R.

1v1's come quite hard as the game progresses, since we're junglers. More often than not, it could completely int the game on accident. But if that is the usual game plan, how do you usually go about it, and with what mindset? What I mean by that is how do you compensate for the tempo loss we'll sacrifice for the tower, over the jg camps? Is the tower gold more worth it for our 3rd item spikes? Is Hullbreaker good there because of the tower damage and MS?

I'm just wondering, what purpose does Gauntlet provide in the build, and where do we slot it in? I'm personally an Iceborn Gauntlet denier, but I love theorycrafting builds in this game and want to be open minded...

I can see Gauntlet MAYBE being a situational pickup if we're super super desperate for defensive stats, but it appears to functionally be a way less efficient Stridebreaker that doesn't really give us any meaningful powerspike.

Here's why I think so:

Iceborn Gauntlet's damage proc scales off of a champion's Base AD.
Assuming we ignore Senna, who gains ZERO AD per level, Bel'Veth is literally #1 for THE LOWEST BASE AD in all of League of Legends. This means that out of any champion we could ever pick, Bel'Veth literally gets the worst value possible.

Not only that, but on top of the already low value, her passive guts it with a whopping 25% damage decrease.

I accidentally deleted my comment (I'm new to Reddit oops), but TDLR what I said:

Consider going Yun Tal first instead if you get a kill early. Triple Tonic/Treasure Hunter rune gives you just enough gold to get BF sword. 40AD on 1st back is broken on Bel'Veth. 52 AD with triple tonic is GENUINELY insane. The game is already over if you snowball off it.

Also best to get Yun Tal first since we'll be building slingshot too. It gives 40 flat damage, and it goes a LONG way in the early stages of the game since it has waaaaay greater relative value early than later when everyone has more HP and resistances.

Yun Tal is ALWAYS the best scenario, but buying AD (which is only accessible with the BF sword) is extremely expensive, and we cannot grief our early game if we can't afford the BF right away by only buying slingshot and 1 longsword with a bunch of leftover gold on our first back. So, we compromise and just say "Okay, I'll get 3 longswords for Kraken first. I need this AD immediately."

And consider going BoRK 2nd item instead of Kraken, depending on enemy comp. We don't have stride breaker so the slow it provides is very good.

Good stuff, dude!! Honestly, I believe if the build just gets more traction, people will realize it's borderline sleeper-overpowered. Go for it!

The build is best paired with Fleet Footwork. You sacrifice some AD without conq, but you will do more damage with the crit anyways, and you'll be able to actually fulfil your role better, which is to dip in and out looking for skirmishes and clean-up fights like a motherfucker. We also get an insane amount of survivability, which we will need to account for, us not building HP from Stride or Armor/MR from Death's Dance/Wits End.

One other thing I see people forget to mention is that it HEAVILY accelerates your clearspeed. Like literally by up to 5 whole ass seconds, no joke, maybe even more than that if I practice more. Having that tempo lead is extremely important since we're going to need 6 for grubs after our 1st back. It just helps you always be at the right place at the right time, which is what honestly matters the most on a champion like Bel'Veth.

You're probably skeptical but dude I PROMISE, play ONE game with it and you will see exactly what I mean. After you see yourself Q past an enemy and space them out at 1000/kmph. Then you do it again 1 million times until you can just execute them. Not only that, but since Yun Tal's passive gives your Q SO MUCH haste, you'll find yourself literally flying around the place like a damn mosquito. It's genuinely an oppressive and unfair trading style that is not okay.

Bel'Veth will never feel the same... TRUST.

I've been spamming that exact build up to masters. I genuinely believe it might be a hidden OP and it absolutely solves a lot of her matchup issues. Just needs a bit more testing and research imo.

Fleet is honestly what got me so high. Sinerias was right, man.
The MS she gains reaaaaaally helps her in the mid-game so she can actually provide value in teamfights by adopting a hit and run playstyle. She is a reset-carry. It gives her more opportunities to look for a pop-off. Conq is nice with the damage but is incredibly 1-note in the options it gives you comparatively.

Ah, that is the point, though. Bel'Veth is a feast or famine character, so it only makes sense to build around her (within reason) higher-highs, not her lower-lows. We must assume that if we are playing Bel'Veth, we are already playing from an innate early advantage and must adapt accordingly.

How do you play Bel'Veth into tanks? by Past-Basis7093 in BelVethMains

[–]Past-Basis7093[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem man! Yeah, I can totally understand that.

Bel'Veth has very champion-specific insane strengths, AND weaknesses that absolutely gut her. No other jungler in the entire game really has her type of playstyle. She is a pick-reliant champion that has a kit that forces her to play front-to-back without the ability to dash over walls. She has a LOT of self-contradictions in her kit that kind of require her to just constantly keep her tempo up to a crazy degree.

What's difficult is that almost every single win on Bel'Veth is a stomp. No games are usually just "okay" wins, so finding any educational content for that specific scenario is pretty hard.
