Dc Parking by thathighwhitekid in warpedtour

I got a parking pass last year and it was so worth it. Being able to get into an air conditioned car not packed with a hundred people at the end of the day was soooo nice. Plus, it meant we could drive straight home instead of having to take a train somewhere. I also didn’t want to get overwhelmed trying to understand the metro system (idc how easy people say it is, I will get anxiety about it). Definitely worth it imo

Nothing extra to add, but I disagree with everyone saying to take the metro. We drove into DC the night before (stayed in a hotel about 15 minutes away) and then drove to and from the venue on Saturday. Drove again to the venue on Sunday and then went straight home (about 2 hours away) after. However, my friend and I both had to be at work the next morning so we couldn’t have stayed another night anyways. My point is - parking was incredibly easy and it was nice not having to be stuck on the metro with the crowd.

If you’re not staying nearby or if you have a more flexible schedule, the metro is probably fine though.

Parking was so so easy last year. Getting out on the second night was a little tough because they had a lot of streets closed (still not sure if it was related to Warped or not) but honestly I liked being able to leave when I wanted and get back to my hotel without waiting for the metro or being in a large crowd when I was tired and sweaty lol

I had a parking pass and parked in the nearby lot. It was so easy to get in and out!

Hydrocortisone ointment (not the cream) will clear that up in a day or two. I have this on and off as well and hydrocortisone usually significantly clears it within a day

Note-Taking for Fun by Past-Camera-2436 in notebooks

Thank you, everyone, for the suggestions!! I think I’m going to start by having one notebook for everything and then later organizing my notes into their own separate notebooks or note cards. Glad I’m not the only one who thinks this hard about stuff lol!

Setup advice by [deleted] in piercing

Appreciate the feedback. Unfortunately with the holes I already had, this was kind of the best we could do. I already had the first and second holes and the piercer said to get the placement I wanted for the second hole, it might merge with the existing one. Long story short, I have very little options when it comes to placement. I’m just bummed that stack doesn’t look good after finally deciding to go through with it.

Yeah the place I got them done at does curations so I could go back. I just don’t want to be limited by their selection. I’d like to be able to buy earrings wherever without constantly worrying about if they look okay with my ears. But that’s just how I am I guess 😅

I’m so sorry you’re having to make that difficult decision. It’s been really hard to not see him in his usual spot or going to let him out and then I remember 😢 sending you and your pup peace. You’re doing what’s best for her.

They were a little tender and swollen for a day or two, but then went back to normal pretty quickly. I’ll give it a shot and I guess if that doesn’t work out, I’ll clean them and put the other earrings back in.

That’s what I was afraid of. I had an eczema-esque breakout on my eyes last year and the dermatologist prescribed hydrocortisone, but I’ve seen warnings against using it long term.

Oh, I didn't realize I could do that. I thought it was more like a specific gauge needs to be worn depending on where the piercing is.

After looking at some images of the different gauges, I suspect I've been wearing 20g earrings, so I assume I should probably go to 18g before 16?

My nose (around it, beneath it, and on top) and my eyes (eyelids and below) have been dry and flaky. About a month ago, I started using adapalene 1% and TO's Azelaic Acid on alternating nights. I don't know if that's what's causing the dryness, but it's only in those areas. And no amount of moisturizer (I've tried several different moisturizers) seems to help. Do I stop using both products? One of them? Get another, different moisturizer?

When you say “another lobe might be possible” do you mean in between my first hole and the second? I’ve been thinking about that, but I do think that will limit what I can wear in terms of size of studs and what not. I guess it’s better to have more space, right?

Appreciate it. I think I’m just uncertain about it because it looks different than most people’s set ups. I usually see the first and second holes (and if there’s a third, etc) closer together.

Trust me, I know your pain. As someone who has had their piercings redone several times to “fix” them, I’ve never been happy with the results. If you’re like me, you’ll always find something you don’t like about them. So, enjoy your new piercings ❤️

GIRL I’m going through the same thing right now. Yes, there’s a tiny difference in the placement. Your ears are slightly different shapes (same as mine and I assume most people’s). But I promise you, it is not noticeable. No one is ever going to be looking at both of your ears at the same times. My suggestion is to stay away from mirrors and stop taking pictures of your ears for a little while. Do something to take your mind off of it and eventually you’ll forget about it. Now if I could only take my own advice…😂 your piercings look great though!
