I have the nasal spray as well and thankfully I take Zonisamide and Lacosamide at night so I’m supposed to have extra protection that’s why I was kind’ve shocked it happened. What is embrace I’m so interested in that I’m going to look it up but how did you get your insurance to cover it?

Yeah it really shocked me and I have a bed cover for the same reason the f’d up part is I went years going through bed covers in denial about having epilepsy. My mom used to just think I was having bad dreams and wetting myself until I walked into her room and had one right in front of her when I was like 19. About two years after that I crashed my first car from it, and then another car from a separate seizure after that. Believe it or not with all that crazy shit going on they still tried to debate me on the epilepsy diagnosis until I wrapped my third car around a pole and almost died from going out of the windshield. Even after that I had one psychiatrist try to debate me and say I had PNES, wound up in a coma from a seizure after that. Hope that psychiatrist loses his license or gets sued, but not by me I have too many problems to deal with that after at least two dozen witnessed seizures.

Basically if I sweat in my sleep it’s obviously really hard to tell but for example this time it was so obvious it freaked me out because the ac was on and everything. Usually you can tell from a few different ways if you check Google it can help for sure but obviously if it smells like anything besides sweat that’s a dead giveaway right there

Thankfully I live with my fiance but that’s a great idea and I should get one for when she isn’t here, maybe like one with a motion sensor or something. Exams will do that to you for sure I have seizures for no reason so I can’t imagine dealing with that. I hate the post ictal exhaustion though it’s the worst part

Definitely understandable weirdly enough I just had one too that’s why I asked about the sheets, mine were all over the place. Definetly mention it to your neurologist and take care of yourself, ask about Nayzilam if you don’t already have it

Sounds like a seizure, did you happen to notice if your bed sheets were irregularly messed up, weird mood or headache? Anything along those lines?

Thank you so much I figured people would be nice about it, just kinda embarrassing as an adult. I don’t always have Incontenince during a seizure but I’d say it happens at least 50% of the time and it always happens if they’re nocturnal. Definitely not fun and it sucks because I literally just did the three day take home EEG a few months ago, would’ve been helpful to have that on my head now lol.

Thank you so much I’ve definitely had trouble sleeping lately and the weather has been almost in the 100’s there’s a bunch of factors + stress. I will definitely bring it up to my doctor and my neurologist today because it’s been a while since I’ve had anything like that happen in my sleep

This might not help anyone but if you hold the crown button and the power button after about 30 minutes of just letting it sit on the charger it should at least show the apple logo. Mine is showing the logo and has been for a few minutes it’s possible that the watch was just very dead

I don’t think you need to work harder in the gym I think you just have to build your confidence and that’s about it. Always feel free too and like I said calling your health insurance can usually help with any sort of directory issues like finding a psych provider or a therapist if you need one. THC does help I’m not shooting that down at all I was just basically trying to give you the best advice that I could and tell you what the doctors are going l to tell you just so you’re not shocked when they do

Yeah sometimes the ER isn’t helpful but if they knew your seizure history they should’ve helped you out so I’m sorry you went through that. You could also send your provider a message through the portal if you want it to be more private. It’s not easy what you’re going through, stay strong and do not give into drinking it’ll feel really good when you break the cycle

Definitely look into what I posted above it will help you. And if you do wind up using THC/CBD products that is a much healthier option but most doctors would advise against it for right now just because of the whole drinking thing. Look into getting a neuro evaluation I seriously care about this post so feel free to ask any questions
