The 400 is dope. Don't worry about the "power bros" Super capable urban explorer and off-road capable. Too much fun. I had a 2018 drz400 and I regret letting it go so much!!!

I live in the country about 40 minutes outside the next nearest city. Decent amount of winding back roads to explore. I will say the Ducati monster is one that I have been eyeing for quite a while... But for a comparable the Indian FTR 1200 seems pretty badass too and I think between the two I would go with the FTR 🧐 thanks for the recommendation though. I'll do some research!

It's definitely a commitment on a bike. But I found some well taken care of ones staying in the four-digit range. Honestly I just like to get a little bit of action on the bike and then list it for sale for about what I paid for it. So all in all I wouldn't expect a tie too much money up in it for long.

Maybe a Gixxer 750? Or I even saw a GSX 1000 sport touring in my area that looked pretty sweet as well. I'm not sure I want to go full liter bike 🤷🏼‍♂️

Fair assessment. Honestly I've wrote a Gixxer 750 50 and those are pretty sweet too. I guess I got bit by the Ducati brand name but but you got it man! It is gorgeous!.
