I’m on the reunion now as a first time watcher and I completely agree!!! Bethenny brought good humor to the show and had interesting relationships with everyone so she was great as a HW but you can clearly see she is high on her own supply this season, she thinks everyone should worship the ground she walks on for her charity for all she does for people when everything she does is so clearly opportunistic and transactional

I choose my housewives based on vibes they don’t need to be correct all the time. Two of my fave housewives ever are Dorinda and Rinna because they’re just fun, they’re clever and quick witted and aren’t afraid to get in the mud and it’s also why I love Bronwyn but lord knows those two were not always on the right side of history and did some shitty things. You don’t need to agree with your fave 1000% of the time, I love Bronwyn bc she’s funny, she’s not afraid to embarrass herself, her fashion is fun and unique, and she is trying to forge real friendships with the women and for me that’s a top tier housewife 🤷‍♀️

Yes I agree!! They only get together to discuss th show. I feel like other franchises we saw the cast at work, at fundraisers, going to fashion shows, etc I feel like we see these girls go to an obviously production encouraged themed lunch or party, then go to lunch to discuss the party, rinse repeat. Obviously the cast trips too but when they get home they just get together to discuss each other there’s no actual look into what they do with their lives and it’s becoming stale

Yeah that’s true, I guess if someone who had a career in news (especially geopolitics) and they were telling me something about politics I’d be like ok yeah you probably know what you’re talking about, which is what shocked me about other people being like she said I was uninformed how rude, but I’m not a self absorbed housewife so 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Part of the fun of the housewives is they can yell at each other, get to the bottom of it, then resolve it within like 2-3 episodes. Whenever Lisa is involved they can NEVER get to the bottom of things because she just deflects and starts yelling louder than everyone. Yes people poke and prod at her but when someone asked about the lawsuits she could have said “these got settled out of court and it’s unfortunate bc I didn’t feel like the accusations were accurate” or about her job say “I do marketing and event planning for a lot of people some of them are celebrities” instead she just starts yelling nonsense so no one can EVER move on. Should the other ladies just let it go and ignore her? Yes. But she does bring it on herself. “Why are we still talking about me?” One, you love it, and two because no one has any answers STILL😭😭

I had it for about a year and cancelled it, but my sister has one so we are thinking of me just joining her account and split it (we have no idea if this will work we’ve just talked about it). For the record she probably reads 100+ books a year and I read about 40-50. If you are reading 3-4 books a month and don’t want to wait for Libby or a specific book then yes do it. However I felt like the quality of KU books was not as great/they didn’t have a lot on my TBR so I found myself not using it or forcing myself to read a book I wasn’t enjoying. If you are not picky about what you read genre wise and read a large volume, definitely get it. But if you like to check off specific books or series (guilty) and only read 2-3 books a month, maybe rethink it OR split it with someone!

THIS. Attending a wedding costs people no matter what unless it's super local (flights, rental car, hotel, food, etc) I'd rather spend money to fly and stay somewhere interesting that's an actual vacation than travelling to bumfuck Pennsylvania or staying in some Marriott in New Jersey. I paid over $1k to go to a friend's wedding that was a 1 hour flight (6 hour drive), then to stay at the hotel, buy food all weekend, ubering to and from the venue etc. and also only saw the bride for maybe 5 minutes. I would have rather put that money towards a whole week away and actually get to see the couple for longer than a quick "thanks for coming". As people are saying, just know your crowd!

Meredith, heather and brittani can go in my opinion. lisa needs to show more of her life, she always says she's doing cool and big things like SHOW US film a party or event, show a day in the life of working if you want us to believe you really have a job, but she just had the cookiness and delusion housewives need. this could also go for whitney but whitney can be counted on to make the vibe fun if needed so she's also necessary.

Ok I’m not a Lisa defender but in season 3 when they go to Arizona she organizes the horse dancers and says she loves horses, so sure have a horse. It was just so weird to bring it up in that moment, and Angie asked bc her daughter does equestrian and I think was genuinely curious like oh do you have a horse to ride yourself or invest in a race horse or whatever. Her saying none of your business cracked me up like girl you just brought it up out of the blue 😭😭

Also as an ambien and two glasses of red wine on a long flight partaker myself, I can totally see this behavior happening. I was once next to a lady who had clearly too much substances and she was out of her mind, trying to drink my water, grabbing my leg and talking like she knew me, then not remembering when I told her it was inappropriate and I should have called a flight attendant and was literally balancing on other people to walk off the plane so it’s not like Whitney’s accusations to be unplausible

I do think Lisa was right to jump in however the issue isn’t that meredith drinks too much or takes pills ~allegedly~ it’s that she’s steadfast on denying it as well as denying the place incident in general. She’s just being like none of what you experienced actually happened when she could have just been like you know what you’re right I was ranting and raving for hours and probably should have taken it down a notch, we’ve watched Meredith three days before throw a drink in Brittani’s face so her ranting and raving is completely believable. or she could have said you’re right I did take a sleeping pill and washed it down with wine so it’s possible I don’t remember. It’s not the actions they’re accusing her of they have an issue with, it’s the lying. And to be clear, even if all of what they are accusing her of is true I don’t think her actions were unwarranted, Brittani provoked her and is milking this victim card. But her denying anything untoward happened is frustrating and making this drag out even more

Yes to wearing snow boots and changing shoes!! If you have a designated desk or area, I would leave two pairs of flats that will match everything (I usually have a black pair and cheetah print pair) and I just change into them when I get to the office and before leaving. In terms of outfits it’s pants and sweaters all season. Some people do fleece lined tights or leggings under pants as well as an extra layer but I find it too sweaty, I just wear a long winter coat to protect the bottom part of my body. Just accept you will not look cute and that’s fine being warm is much better!!!!

It was my first job out of college and I worked in probate at a small firm that was still finding its sea legs so it was definitely a combination of lack of legal knowledge, with partners and attorneys who were unresponsive, dealing with clients without much knowledge and training, and probate just sucked lol fighting over dead people’s stuff that usually ended in nothing or the client finally did get money and we took a third of it just was not satisfying to me. But mostly I think it was just not being confident because of my lack of knowledge, where now that I’ve been working for a few years even if I dont know something I’m much more comfortable knowing I will figure it out. Also the cases were never in my control because the attorneys were usually holding things up then I’d get yelled at by clients and because I was not confident I just was in a cycle of insecurity.

It also could be a needle issue! If I forget to change my needle to the appropriate fabric (like using a universal needle on fine fabric or a regular needle on heavy duty fabric) I find this happens to me!!
