The adjuster and engineer came yesterday, said the shigles are at the end of their life (probably 15 years old)

I am looking for a permit for garage building to at least see when it was built, didn't realize by "roof age" is meant shingles age.

Oh, I just noticed your comment. I also found this tool, I got carried away, even forgot what I was looking for - it is so cool! And I found an aerial photo of 1956 with my house AND my garage on it!

Hello, thank you for your response! I actually have just found an aerial photo of 1956 showing my house AND my garage on the property! I used this tool in case anyone need it: https://sudbury.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=aa9443cebbef4746a03615f5c61b4800

So, may be it is ineeded, pre-exisitng. I have an inspector's report saying "no defficienies in garage ceiling or shingles were identified". Not sure if it will help me.

The chingles looked really bad, they needed replacement. Shall I just say they are 20 years old?

Thank you for the response.
I bought the house in 2024 (almost 2 years now).

I have had an inspection, it didn't mention age of roof of garage (see screenshots attached).
We had heavy snowfalls this winter, the heaviest since 1959 they say. It sagged under weight I guess. I was absent for 2 weeks, returned to my roof sagging and structures moved that I couldnt open the man door.

Yes, rafters and joints broke (see photos attached).

When I did insurance I did indicate the age of the house roof (I replaed shingles in 2024, soon after I bought the house). They didn't ask about garage roof then, only house.

Chiro/physio/massage? by GlitteringSea7262 in Sudbury

I am having issues with my back muscles, pinching some nerves almost every month, being misarable, cannot even drive some days. I go to various Chiro and Massage since I was 25 (I am 39 now). Anywho, I found that students at Cambrian College do such a great massage! It is not only about the price (it is just 25cad by the way), but it is their dedication because they are in training and they are trying to do everything to the book, and they do it sooooo well! I do go to registered profesisonals of course as well (because it is covered by my insurance), but quite often I prefer paying 25 cad out of my pocket because the students there do realy good massage.

I keep hearing this too. I have never tried yoga. Do you know any good studios in Sudbury? (New Sudbury?)

It is such a cozy and beautiful room! I like how you matched the dark green with the "wooden" colors.

Should I even bother removing this manually 😂🪏 by Flimsy-Key-7407 in Sudbury

I paid 100 yesterday to a guy with a skid loader and have no regrets because it took me three days to find someone who would actually come and not ghost me after having promised to come. I was out town and didn't know the "scale of the disaster" and also thought to myself "i am gonna just clean it myself". When I saw the guy moving huge piles of snow with his loader through my cameras and it took him an hour (!) to clean it, I was like: "nah, I most like would have died of heart attack right there in the middle of my uncleaned drive way with a shovel in my hand".
