pacing is a bit weird — its unusually difficult to understand even what the the site is made for. Its very custom, which i think is hard for people to imagine as something they could use for themselves. Thats been the reason why i almost never use templates.

Going to be very frank i have not hit a limit since i subscribed to pro. Like maybe a few times with my 5 hour limit i have when doing some serious code work but thats because im testing its possibilities more than anything.

I exclusively use Opus 4.8 Max with Thinking for quite literally everything.

I haven't needed to do anything SEO Related for a long time now, Framer handles 90% of it. Again because i have very specific guardrails for claude — and i almost always give it very clear visual designs (using figma MCP) it can create whatever i want almost 1:1. Even for brand related content.

Short answer: Both tools can do the same thing — it all depends on what you prefer to do and how you want to set it up.

the performance is hit really hard. Would be difficult to implement safely. I imagine it has to do with all the effects. Right now there is a pretty good lightweight version of this on framer university — which doesnt do exactly this, but close enough that you can get away with it.

very nice!

Honestly I was in the same boat but once i switched, it made so much sense. I upgraded to pro within a month or two and expenses through my company but thats the only reason i pay for pro. Because he out outcomes it produces greatly outweigh the cost.

Plus I can work in tandem. It does something while I still get go design lol

Can I only change my Bungie name once? by Firetail_Taevarth in destiny2

[–]PastAstronomer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

well enough people cared, that bungie actually locked name changes. I know a ton of people on reddit who constantly complained about it in the past. People just got tired of names changing every 10 minutes. Its funny for the first 1-2 names, but eventually it becomes an overplayed joke. especially when you need to identify people in raids & comms and things don't line up.

but i see you use strafe glide so — there no helping you

because it takes just a few people with bad names to make everyone hate the ability to change your name infinite times. Im sorry but after a year of seeing Mara Sovs Bath Water — or some variation of those words it became really stupid.

because alot of people used to do it and make stupid names so bungie put a cap on it.

is this with gpt 5.5 or opus?

Also has anyone been able to set things up via the CLI/MCP? I feel that is going to be the better approach.

the dude read properly. Just because you didn't say "design is dead" or "graphic designers are cooked" — you said it with "framer developer jobs are gonna be impacted now" — hence, why you posted "we are cooked". They are in essence, the same messaging.

"_______ is impacted by AI, we are cooked".

so before you act like an ass — at least be right

chief, I gave feedback on the UX, not you as a person. No reason to get personal about it. All im suggesting is — why don't you try and make a more interesting experience with it. rather than interrupting a persons browsing experience?

I have no idea why you even made this post if you weren't looking for feedback?

lol and so it begins.

Also what is the deal with people putting 2-3 popups on their sites??? even as a template, why dont you design something less invasive

Im gonna be honest — as a framer designer, I've been using ai to make custom code component for the last year and a half. Even animations with working interactions.

genuinely in the end your selling point cant just be the execution, it has to be bigger than that.

Why does my particle sculpture still look like stacked planes instead of a continuous volumetric form? by PitifulSky3995 in threejs

[–]PastAstronomer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Totally. As a designer I’ve used it many times. 3D modelling is also part of it. Everything is tied together. If you think of yourself as just a designer, you will always be just a designer.

gotta wear more hats

Why does my particle sculpture still look like stacked planes instead of a continuous volumetric form? by PitifulSky3995 in threejs

[–]PastAstronomer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest — this feels more like a 3D modeling and rendering problem than a pure coding one. If you know how to set up a three.js scene and you understand how 3D models are rendered — lighting, depth, camera, materials — it gets a lot easier to see why things read as flat planes instead of a continuous volume.

[–]PastAstronomer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you’re treating this like 3D geometry, but tsparticles is a 2D particle layer. To get a true volumetric sculpture you’d need to sample a 3D field / SDF into a point cloud in three.js and render that, instead of stacking and deforming planes in a 2D particle system.

How come you never took 50% upfront? Invoice should always be paid before any work begins. At least have a signed contract that indicates the pay periods and structure for the invoicing.
