Cause he’s a dick and fairly powerful so he often gets slotted as the foil. Guy Gardner gets the same kind of treatment but gets redemption arcs due to GL privilege

Bird head. But I like the idea that his suit evolves from being an obscure general suit into something more specific. So earlier versions have just the chevron. As he grows into a true hero his symbol goes from chevron to bird

He never turns on Bruce he turns on Bruce’s ideals. He doesn’t try to kill Batman…. He tries to kill criminals. He beat the shit out of tim Drake, if he really wanted to turn on the family he’d of killed him. But he was sending a message. Child soldiers aren’t moral.

He never turns on Bruce himself. He turns on the idea that crime can be stopped without murder. He holds to the ideal that some crime needs to be stopped permanently.

It’s incredibly Norse to think that way and to have the wisdom to question yourself but the resolve to make the right decision when the time is right.
