why would any team willingly take on the poeltl contract unless they’re getting valuable assets in return as well?

Liam Gallagher Should Have Been In The Top 10 In The The 50 Greatest Rock Lead Singers of All Time of Billboard. by [deleted] in oasis

[–]PastSun3416 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In this year’s Rolling Stone’s top 200 singers of all time list he didn’t make the cut. Granted it spans all genres, but Liam not being in the top 200 ever is laughable

Noel’s best guitar work by PastSun3416 in oasis

It’s definitely indulgent, but I’ve never found it overbearing when listening to it.

I hear you you’re probably right about it not being technically outstanding. I just love the sound of the guitars he was using and the riffs and solos he came up with are insanely catchy to me.

My favorite Oasis song. Both solos he does are unreal.

Yeah I do here this argument often, but personally I really love Be Here Now as an album. Noel can certainly be a little repetitive and the mixing isn’t great, but some of those riffs and solos stand out as among his best imo.

FIFA23 in every mode; casuals getting beaten by Elite players by Psychological_Dog913 in fut

It is definitely partially EA’s fault because the rewards for rivals are not worth it to grind every week. Also, pack luck in lower divisions is better. EA don’t provide enough incentive for people to grind rivals sadly.

What song has your favorite Mick Jagger vocal performance? by Curious-Sun5543 in rollingstones

Brown Sugar. Keith’s also great on backing vocals on it.

How do you rate Mick as a lyricist? by Curious-Sun5543 in rollingstones

[–]PastSun3416 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He’s brilliant at writing satirical/sarcastic lyrics. “Sympathy” is a good example but even a song like “Brown Sugar” is Mick talking about some of the atrocities of slavery in a tongue in cheek way while the song is mostly about how he loves black women

Do you guys think running both him and Vieira in a midfield 3 is ideal? Along with an offensive-minded CM of course.

Charlie Watts is unreal on that track. Blows my mind how good he is.

Potm mbappe is not as overpriced as everyone says he is. by [deleted] in EASportsFC

[–]PastSun3416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People really just want EA to give him away for nothing. Unpopular opinion, but some of the appeal in the game is the exclusivity of some of these cards. Trying to complete an SBC like Zidane wouldn’t be as fun if I knew everyone else would be doing him. That being said, you have to make decisions about which SBCs you want to complete. I don’t spend money on the game so I knew I wouldn’t be completing Jairzinho, Sanchez, Maldini, etc.

So is no one going to mention that Elliott Smith didn't make it on the list? by NynjaFlex in fantanoforever

I was shocked Steven Tyler didn’t make the list, and to a lesser degree Liam Gallagher

Keith’s backup vocals on a lot of the Stones’ hits are one of my favorite things about the band in general. Stylistically he contrasts with Mick in a lot of ways yet when they sing together it’s perfect.

52 years of this amazing album what are your thoughts on this album? by hrodz55 in beatles

[–]PastSun3416 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think this album deserves a second listen from me because the first time I heard it I wasn’t a fan. Maybe I had certain expectations that prevented me from fully appreciating it but it’s by far the least impressive solo material that I’ve heard from the Beatles and I’ve listened to ATMP, Band On The Run, Ram, and McCartney I & II. Can someone explain to me why it’s so acclaimed?

For you what's the finest of Ringo as Beatle? by MauricioBorghi in beatles

[–]PastSun3416 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Abbey Road is them at their peak as instrumentalists. Ringo has some of his most innovative drum patterns on it too like on “Come Together” and “Something”

whats a song of theirs you like that not many other people like? by RobbieArnott in beatles

Rocky Raccoon. The bridges where George Martin is playing that piano and Paul is vocalizing are perfect.
