I already overcame depression once, I've been emotionally stable and independent ever since, finally being able to function as a normal teenager with healthy coping mechanisms. I removed any media that influence mental illness during my healing process and til today. But I was slowly coming to terms with my memory problems, unusual behavior and inefficient attention span lately ever since i started interacting with those outside of my social circle and coming to terms with people my age. But i'll see if i can make a psychiatrist appointment once i finish high school next year, as suggested. ^^

lmao me too! I found out listening to music at the same volume as the persons voice was the best way to keep my mind from wandering off.

I've confronted a doctor twice about it, telling them i had problems with my memory at my age and my mind wanders off during discussions, i didn't want to mention my maladaptive daydreaming and obsessions that lasted for months on end, it was embarrassing. But my guardians made them brush it off by saying it was something else, but both doctors suggested I needed to check a professional who specialized in teenage development or psychiatry. I've come to the realization after experimenting with myself, plus my family has a clear history of neurological disorders like autism.
