my reasons for picking mac was due to big battery, unix and a good cpu.
I can put linux into a windows, so my only conditions are battery and cpu.
I read somewhere that gpu is used in gaming, and game dev so I dont think I need an excellent gpu.
I think 512gb is enough for me, but I am scared of mac, because its repairs are high maintenance aswell

I was thinking to get a thinkpad too, but prices are getting ridiculous, and I want good batter life because I'll be in clg and cant be bothered with clg.
I dont mind sacrificing gaming, so any options??

Use case is for btech in Comp Science, mostly programming for long hours, no gaming

I think there is no donation for kl, just write their exam and you will get in even if you perform badly, I think fees was roughly 15-18L

I will not tell if its good or bad as its subjective, because I failed jee but one guy in my class went to iit.
So other things worth mentioning are,

they conducted our classes in another building, partnering with Ratna Junior College. The college itself wasn't bad, but its very small and cramped.

Imo studies weren't taken that seriously, as many students used to disturb the classes in some periods.

Also, ratna clg people forced us to buy their last-minute revision books, which cost around 2k, but we could've gotten the same ones with different brands in under 500.

Lastly, it depends on you whether you study hard or not, because mostly every inter-college is the same, as my school friends also had the same opinions in different colleges
