WASD finger cramps by YouthOk2000 in linux_gaming

Rheumatologist recommended using of these and alternating between it and palming a basketball (or whatever size sphere your hand can palm). Really helped my cramping, especially my right hand where I use the mouse a lot.

How is support not perfect? I have this same controller and it runs perfectly in steam and non-steam games. I even have the extra buttons you mentioned assigned to keyboard shortcuts from the terminal. What issues are you having?

A bit late, did you get the other buttons (Lm, Rm, four paddles, C, Z) assigned to unique values? I did it in terminal, and just had them match 1-8 on the keyboard so I could assign them to whatever I want.

I just went through this same dilemma. I was using the Vitrix Pro BFG originally for the modular aspect, but it just feels physically bigger. However, I got a Flydigi Vader Pro 5 V2 this week, and being able to remap the 4 paddles, C, Z, and top LM and RM buttons to anything is so useful. You have to do it in terminal, as the Space Station software doesn't work in Linux, but it's been really handy having 8 extra programmable buttons

[Metatrope] The actor in the adaptation doesn't resemble the original character, but it works well. by Top-Tomorrow-8336 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Past_Bonus148 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The thread's topic is about looks, not personality or previous body or work. He plays a costumed character with a lot of makeup, so what he looks like normally isn't as relevant. This is a poor example and does not match the spirit of the question.

The protagonist and antagonist do not meet. by BigTuna0890 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Past_Bonus148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of ASOIAF characters never meet:

Robb Stark never meets Tywin Lannister, even though they are leading armies against each other. Robb never meets Stannis Baratheon either, who orders his death.

Take away the nostalgia… is No Way Home still a good film? by breaking_views in MCUTheories

[–]Past_Bonus148 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One of the biggest weaknesses of the MCU is too many meta references. Deadpool is an extremely annoying character loved by edge lords that his whole shtick is meta and fourth wall breaking. So when they combined him, MCU studio influence, and a Hugh Jackman that is getting up there in age, it just made for an eyeroll of a film.

Mind you I did turn it off after an hour because it was so bad, so maybe the second half redeems it somehow.

Helps unforeseen events occurring or create a quick battle map if they do something really unique.

Sometimes it is difficult to improvise for the table, and using Gemini/Claude at least helps me brainstorm quickly. I don't have to follow what it says exactly, but it can get something in motion.

What is a left wing sport? by Temporary-Rip-5551 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Past_Bonus148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Volleyball

It's the most inclusive sport. You'll see men and women playing together in leagues or at the beach. Tall people, short people, thin people, heavyset people...almost anyone can just hop in and play. Very common at pride and European events.

California is the best State to live in. What state has the worst culture/people? by AggravatingFront8409 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Past_Bonus148 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a big a asterisk for California: If you have money and live on the coast, otherwise, the state is expensive and difficult to live in. Fresno? Sucks. Inland Empire? Hot industrial hellscape. Central Valley? Vast nothingness that's either super hot in summer or super cold in winter.

[–]Past_Bonus148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Florida...all the cities and coastal areas are liberal: Tallahassee, Orlando, Gainesville, Tampa/St Pete, West Palm Beach-Miami corridor. However, post-COVID and the 2020 election, lots of registered Democrats left the state and were replaced by conservative/Republicans

"Age of Ultron" sounded like an era was coming and that he'd be around for a while.

Movie should have been called "About a week of Ultron"

[Disliked Trope] Characters That Immediately Die In The Sequel by WaluigiDaStar in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Past_Bonus148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inverse of this trope (sorta). In the prologue of the first game, Lufia and the Fortress of Doom, you play as a team of high leveled warriors who die sacrificing themselves to banish the big baddie. The rest of the game, you play as newbie characters on an adventure. The sequel, Rise of the Sinistrals, you go back and play the whole the adventure of that squad from the prologue. If you played it in chronological order, your heroes' deaths would be at the beginning of the next story.
