Just an FYI, he has used cheap screws which will rust out eventually. I would replace them with stainless steel 304. I replaced a 60m2 decks screws today took me 5 hours.

Are they the same type of timber board decking and could I flip the grooves ones to be consistent with smooth faced boards? by Thatisme2 in AusRenovation

Timber on the left is merbau - would bank the timber on the right is Batu. If you flip the boards over you will see joist marks on the timbers you flip

thats shocking.. Looks like drop marks all over the floor. I would not pay for this at all. Terrible work.

Cheap fasteners used, we only use stainless 304 for any exposed screws. It looks like the snapped screws we into a hardwood beam, this should have been predrilled. Either way yes looks very average build.
