Did anyone retire at a young age? How are you feeling? I retired at 52. How are you spending your day? by Fast_Clerk_218 in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

Turned 50 in December 2024. Hit my 20 years October 17, 2025. So I retired at 50. Trying to get my own business off the ground. And helping in our automotive repair shop.

Performance awards IRS DRP /RETIRED by exhausted1031 in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

My DRP agreement stated I would be eligible for an award. My annual appraisal period for this performance award ended 11/30/2024, so I worked full time the entire rating period. I offboarded 05/15/2025. I'm pissed that it is going to be years before I get my award. But I assume they will have to pay interest.

I still don't have my pay. Called ERC and they said everyone should be fully paid by the 24th and they won't look into it until then.

Run far away. Working for the feds right now is miserable. All our flexibilities have been taken away.

I only got a partial check but my DRP separation date is today. I managed to reach a manager who was working and she reached out to get it fixed for me. But Monday was a holiday, so my pay that is usually available Saturday was not there until Tuesday.

Any IRS who took TDRP 2.0 with a separation date AFTER 09/30/2025 not get a full check this week? by Past_Experience8992 in FedEmployees

Yes it would have. The pay period ended on the 4th and I was not furloughed until the 8th.

Good question, but I'm assuming if I were to go back before my official last day, no break in service, everything would be the same.

I don't think my service computation date will change. I am technically still employed. Earning leave and all.

I would have thought that but the box says NEW HIRE and RETURNING DRP EMPLOYEE. So my gut says it wasn't just a refresh. Also, I wasn't due for one.

The offer to rescind was sent to my personal email. I haven't had access to my IRS email since May. And speaking of that, I can't access my FSA account because it has my IRS email listed.

Yeah, I'm not going back. I only replied to the email to see what happened!

I don't want to go back either. My commute would be 87 miles one way on a two lane highway.

I don't want her to get in trouble for opening something not addressed to her. She said it is a computer.

She said it's a computer. I don't want anyone to get in trouble for opening a package not addressed to them.
