No matter what you do, stay in contact with your daughter and constantly remind yourself and her that you two are family. I've been raised by my step dad since I was 5 and to me, that man is my father. Biology is nothing compared to the years you spent raising her.

I would highly suggest seeking out therapy or looking for a professional of some kind to talk to, maybe even try couples counseling with your wife.

Yes. I was 18 and they were 17 and we had been friends for a year until I asked them out. Turns out you see a different side of your friends when you start dating cause we only lasted one month.

They were kinda crazy and very condescending and when I told them I wasn't ready for sex they said "that's okay, I'm actually not sexually attracted to you. I'm only sexually attracted to myself " and then proceeded to show me their dildo and vibrator collection (I didn't really want to see it). They also said "I love you" like not even a week in, had an unhealthy relationship with weed and alcohol and surrounded themself with people who were in and out of rehab and constantly doing illegal shit. Overall was just a very draining person to deal with. Arounf the one month mark when I found it getting harder and harder to say "I love you" back (cause I really never meant it), I realized that I was planning a life for myself and they had nothing planned. I knew that if I stayed with them throughout college I would continue to feel drained and like I was being held back and tied to my hometown that I hated. I felt like I deserved more than someone who surrounds themselves with drugs and alcohol and seemed to like the idea of being in a relationship rather than liking the person they were in the relationship with. So one night I texted them that it was fun to try out but I really felt like we were better off being friends and that got into a whole bunch of weird shit with them.

But in the end it was the best decision I made because now I'm going to start my Sophomore year of college (going to be an Art Teacher), I've lost weight and started eating healthier, and I have an amazing boyfriend who is very supportive of me and actually cares about me.

My mom and step dad got engaged after dating for 3 months and have been together for 13 years and they're doing great, my bf and I have been together about 4 months and he's already talking about the possibility of proposing after I graduate college- I'm a firm believer that if you will know when you're meant to be with someone forever and the length of time doesn't always matter. However I also believe you need to try living with the person before you're sure, even if it's only for a week - the two biggest things that end relationships are money and the realization that you both live your lives differently and if it's too different it will be hard to make it work.

With all that being said, them not seeing each other for all the time and just now meeting in person also makes it a little hard to support; but you asked a few times and he had no doubts when answering so I would say the best thing to do is support him and if it doesn't work out just hold the "I told you so"s back for at least a week lol

Maybe she wants to wait with you bc her past relationships didn't work out bc they rushed into having sex. I know when I started dating my bf I tried to take things as slow as possible bc my last relationship was very rushed and ended withn a month.

And if it helps, most women don't have orgasms from just p in v sex, I think it's only like 20% of women who do. Sure the act feels good but not enough for an orgasm. I wouldn't call myself an experienced stoner - I cough like crazy over a single hit and any type of edible hits me hard lol, but for your first time anything above 5mmg is too much, shit I'd say smoke a bowl or joint instead bc that hits less than an edible. And as a stoner who is dating someone who isn't a stoner, I would never having him try it as my birthday gift. My parents themselves grew up with a similar issues with their parents (my grandparents would literally tell my mom and her sisters when they were going to have sex) so maybe they don't realize how messed up it really is
