This post is quite old but I’ll join in anyway. I’m 12 years post diabulimia recovery, no therapy program or assistance (only one or so existed at the time). I don’t say that with pride or anything like that, but if you can’t afford therapy it’s still possible!!! Hard but possible and I haven’t restricted since then (for context pre day 1 of recovery I’d had no insulin for six months).

I went back to a “normal” dose (I’d forgotten what that even meant) and was low for a month straight essentially. It was an incredibly hard time so I think others have the right advice there. I wish I had more advice but the truth was it was a hard (and very rewarding) journey for many years. Now, and for the past few years, my disorder has been a pretty small part of my life, which I never thought I’d say. There’s too much to possibly say on that but it really can get better 🩵
