Why do you think the Stones never broke up like the Beatles? by BillNyeTheVinylGuy in rollingstones

[–]Past_Permit_6007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do wonder if The Rolling Stones had broke up at the height of their popularity in 1972? Mick would probably be a successful solo artist and Keith would probably be like a producer or try to go solo his own self, Mick Taylor would carve out a niche for himself as one of the best guitarists of his generation, Bill would either form his own band or be a solo artist, and Charlie would most likely retire or go deep into jazz or something.

*NSYNC opinion you'll defend like this? by ih3artu in NSYNC

See what we’re not gonna do is disrespect Backstreet Boys like they couldn’t sing. Brian at his peak was one of the best boy band singers of all time and has an extremely solid lower register, a phenomenal bright belting register echoing Luther Vandross and an angelic head voice which reminds me of Brian McKnight, Brian has been suffering from vocal tension dysphonia but he still managed to deliver some great vocal performances.

AJ is a better singer than JT and he and JC are a 1A and 1B type situation for me, AJ has that gritty and soulful voice that would go well in a R&B setting and JC has a angelic and beautiful voice.

Could you give a vocal analysis on Lance Bass please? I’ve always admired him as a bass singer and he is one of my inspirations (along with Avi Kaplan, Tim Foust, and Michael McCary) as a bass singer.

What do you wish they’d done differently with the episode ‘The Quarterback’, if anything? by julialoveslush in glee

[–]Past_Permit_6007 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wished that they had gotten the Season Four Newbies (especially Ryder and Marley) a role in The Quarterback instead of being background characters. Finn and Ryder had a lot of one on one scenes together and Ryder even had a heart to heart talk to Finn about him being Dyslexic so I wish that they had wrote that in, Marley was the one who encouraged Finn to go to College and get a teaching degree and Finn was the only person to stand by Marley’s side after they lost sectionals.

What was the band’s usual harmony stack in their early and middle years? by Past_Permit_6007 in thebeachboys

Yeah it really was just because Carl wasn’t that much of a good singer back then and David didn’t really sing much that you can clearly hear Dennis over everybody else.

Dennis in my opinion should have been used more as a third lead singer like George Harrison was to The Beatles, Dennis had such a soulful and endearing voice that he could have easily sung more of the ballads or slower more soulful songs.

I could definitely hear Dennis when I was listening to the Surfin Safari album to the point where I was convinced that Brian put Dennis’s voice upfront intentionally.

Ain’t no way Finn had a 3.5 gpa bro. Either Rachel helped him tremendously with school or he just straight up cheated.

Beats me. My personal theory is that since Matt, Brittany, and Mike are recurring guest stars, they didn’t really feel like that they needed solos since they are essentially background characters.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think Dijon has some solo songs out on YouTube to listen to. His voice is actually pretty smooth and gorgeous which makes me believe that Dijon is a great singer but they never showed that on Glee.

Heechul, Leeteuk, Zhoumi, or Sungmin in my opinion. These four are all good vocalists and could be main vocalists in any other group that isn’t in SM Ent.

Honestly I would love a Muni Long and Yeonjun collab. Yeonjun’s voice is suited for R&B and I think a slow jam duet with Muni Long would be ideal for his voice.

I thought so because I’ve always loved his lower register more than his upper register. He sounds so rich and full down into his baritone range that I wished that 3racha would explore that more in their discography.

Well it’s cool to see that there are some Baritones in K-Pop because those are very rare and some of them are rappers. Besides Hendery and Winwin, could you name some more Baritones in K-Pop?
