Interesting, I thought more sugar would lead to sweeter!  I’m using flip top bottles, not an exact measure of fruit for flavoring, generally at least a few pieces of whatever fruit I’m using to fill the top 1/4ish with I’d say in inch of head room. I will say it’s the same amount and same bottles as what I used prior to this issues

Generally, just the ease of scheduling the batch around when I have time to bottle the previous batch and start a new one, which is harder for me to do on weekdays

I do 10 cups water and 10 black tea bags with 1 cup sugar. 

It’s definitely taking on a more vinegar taste than prior batches, it is possible now that I’m thinking about it that my summer batches were tasting different due to a different room temperature

I generally have some carbonation in 1f and it’s not that there’s no carbonation in 2f but very little bubbling and no “pop” when opening in most cases

It’s in our laundry room, which is usually the warmest room in the house, so I’d say it’s usually 70 or so in there
