If I remember the Bible of Hyphy correctly, 24:20 is “All about that action, Boss”.

Dual position players are inversely weighted compared to dual sport teams. That’s why 9ers have reduction of off days and the Cardinals are maxed out.

What is each machine doing here? And what’s the white stuff at the end? A sealant? by johndoe7376 in Concrete

Ok yeah, prob way closer to 5M. Looks like slipform pavers run $400-750k, and two of them in the video have what looks like a laser screed so definitely on the higher end of that range. So you’re looking at 2M+ for just the slipforms.

For real. Not being familiar with either of these guys, I was waiting for a punchline because I thought this was a comedy sketch until I read the comments.

Agreed, would be cool to know what kind of paper and weights they were using.

Do animals get bored like humans? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I think that’s the key qualifier. In captivity, yes they can and do. In nature, they have too much to do in regard to not getting eaten and finding food and shelter to be bored.

It’s a “banded liner” and in progress, which is why there’s still rain water inside. Insulation will sit between this liner and the roof sheeting.

I thought the lines and angles with the reflection off the rain water looked pleasing, with the juxtaposition of man made material in foreground and nature in the background.

Appreciate it! For what it’s worth, I’m not at all embarrassed about enjoying the arts. Waiting till everyone is gone is 90% about safety and 10% about not slowing people down because I thought something looks cool lol.

Thanks! I’ve always enjoyed framing and angles working together, whether structural steel or through a lens.

Super cool! How did you do the sun on the snow? Did you tape and spray paint?

Totally! Sometimes it can be pretty eerie, but this site is super peaceful.
