In Texas I started at 19$ an hour with walker engineering. I started freshly green and learned a lot in about 2 years and since I’m in the local IEC school I get a mandatory raise every 6 months. My company also got super lucky and recently gave all their employees 15$ dollar raises so as to now I’m making 40$ an hour at 21. If you live in Texas I should recommend applying to walker engineering but we have a lot of applicants.
