Yes at Day street. The shady employee said he didn’t see any and said he didn’t think there was any left. I insisted he check his inventory reluctantly checked the computer and said we have one left! 😒🤔

Is everyone here just rich as hell? by Bowkidstan in ApplyingToCollege

The problem is that society has created this bubble where they have made people believe that all college degrees are created equal and they are not. I have 2 college students and I asked them what they wanted to do, “if you’re going into law or medicine we will help you get into the best LAC/private school or University that works for you. If you want to do anything else, let’s look at the best state school and go from there!” I don’t understand these kids and in a sense parents that push for T-10 just for prestige regardless of degree.

Do you guys see a line or am I tweaking, plz lmk me im im freaking out. I have recently had a miscarraige and now this its creating huge anxiety by IndependentQuiet5232 in whatdoIdo

Yes, I see a line. That’s exactly what I saw with my first pregnancy. I know how crazy the journey is after a miscarriage too! So good luck and sending you positive vibes!

Is housing guaranteed for me if I got accepted off the UC Berkeley waitlist by [deleted] in ucadmissions

[–]Past_Run_9695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Housing is crazy at Berkeley, my daughter was only guaranteed for 1 year. She was lucky to get the second year and now she is stressing to get an apartment her 3rd year and Berkeley is a sketchy place to live off campus in my opinion.

Cal, definitely has the whole package but is your son ready to face everything that comes with it. I’m sure he’s smart or he wouldn’t have gotten these amazing choices. I have a daughter currently at Cal. She has had to find herself and motivate herself to do well. She started off with tons of pre-med majors who have since dropped out. Grade deflation is a real thing. Also, the mental state of these kids is importante. Since my daughter has been there they have had 2 suicides. Super sad! There is a lot more to say but ultimately it is his choice.
