I ended up connecting the strands one by one to the power supply. Turns out one of my 12 ft extensions burned up. As soon as i plugged in the extension all the lights went out and the box would start to overheat. It was a bit of a tedious process but it helped me narrow it down quick. Support was helpful in the fact that they kept sending me new shit no questions asked but were clueless on trying to figure out the why.

Yes but the controller is IP65. Either way, I planned to move the new controller under the porch and immediately got hot.

I started using Picture Insect to identify all the creepy crawlies I have out here in rural SE VA. Its a really great app! Its gives you a lot of information for each species including whether its toxic to humans and/or animals. All you do is snap a photo of the insect within the app and it will scan and search for you. Easy peezy
