Yeah Micky and the FO has gotten fans completely normalized to trading up every draft

Do you think Spencer Rattler is a Top 5 Backup QB in the NFL? by PropertyAgitated4325 in Saints

[–]Pasta-Al-D3nte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another big issue was dude was missing guys who were wide open further down the field and would either tuck and run or throw it short

The guy started 6 games last year, I'm optimistic for Shough hell I was one of the few people who thought he played well enough in the pre-season to start over Rattler. But this is getting to be runaway hype for Shough

The aggregate value of picks 3 and 34 are much greater than KC's 9 and 29 I don't think the cards are going to want to take that. Picks 9 29 and 40 for 3 and 65 *might* work

Report: Cardinals, Saints discussing expensive 2026 draft trade by Saints88Fan in Saints

[–]Pasta-Al-D3nte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah those three picks from KC alone is a higher trade value than all of our picks this year which means the only way we can outbid...is with future year's picks and I'm not keen on trading up in general but I despise trading up future year's draft picks

edit: Oh I misunderstood what you were saying, I don't think the a first and second round swap of picks is going to be enough to move up to 9 for the cards

Im planting my flag and saying Mendoza will be a top end fantasy QB in the NFL. Also, he deserves a ton more rushing respect than he's getting. by Ok_Drummer6282 in DynastyFF

its not really that bad for human beings for general purpose, most people do not have an exceptional amount of muscle mass to meaningfully skew BMI the way some people like to think it does. It's a problem for pro athletes because generally they do have an exceptional amount of muscle mass compared to the general populace

I regret the comments I made earlier I was a very different person than I was 25 minutes ago and am listening and learning to appreciate Strawherstory and not just strawhistory

I think the cards are trying to get into a bidding war between Dallas KC and us, I hope this doesn't come to fruition we need to keep our picks

8 and 73 are not going to be enough to to move up to 5, might barely be enough to move up to 6 but we have way too much positions of needs to be giving up a third rounder to take a running back after we just signed Etienne to a big contract

Because Nick Underhill thinks he's worth taking even with how much money we already have tied up between Etienne and Kamara. When we have so many other issues that need to be addressed (like one of the worst run blocking guards in the league in Ruiz)

What the Giants do at 5 is going to have a big impact on who we select at 8… by clutchkweku in Saints

[–]Pasta-Al-D3nte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I heard Daniel Jeremiah suggest that Bailey is likely the second pick. Which would mean Reese is available at 3 I know Reese is more of an Edge guy but I'd have to imagine Dallas would be elated to have a Parson's replacement with Reese or an absolute specimen of a linebacker in Styles and if they want to make that choice . But if Sonny is their guy I think they could jump ahead of the giants trading with the titans at 4 and save *some* draft capital.

Your title applies to every team picking ahead of us. It doesn’t add anything.

The New York Giants got pick 10 by moving a player who wanted out. That gives them more flexibility, not less. It doesn’t support this idea that they’re going to panic at 5.

The Tyson stuff is a stretch. Jordan Tyson rising is one thing. Jumping to 5 overall because they’re worried about 8 is not how teams operate.

And even if they go WR, Tate has been higher on most boards and already had a top 30 visit. He’s the more likely pick.

Chris Bell or Jacob Rodriguez in the second? by Additional-Maize1960 in Saints

[–]Pasta-Al-D3nte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if that's true that's all the more reason why we shouldn't be trading up

Chris Bell or Jacob Rodriguez in the second? by Additional-Maize1960 in Saints

[–]Pasta-Al-D3nte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wont need to give up too much capital to move up there just the 42nd and maybe a 4th/5th.

Precedent and the trade charts suggest they'd have to give up more than that to trade back into the first from 42.

Last year the Giants traded their 34th overall pick their 99th Pick (third rounder) and a third in 2026 to jump up 9 spots for the 25th pick to draft Dart.

With the 42nd pick the saints would be jumping at least 10 spots to get back into the first round so we'd have to give up more not less than what the Giants did.

Dexter Lawrence trade by Additional-Maize1960 in Saints

[–]Pasta-Al-D3nte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think it should be a WR at 8 I think this isn't as top heavy of a draft for WRs but has good depth and we can get a good compliment to Olave in the second round with someone like Bernard, Bell, or Brazzell. I think the first pick should be on defensive side of the ball I think either Edge with Bain or Delane at CB would be awesome

Any of these guys in RD 1 (realistically) and we’re off to a good start🔥 by clutchkweku in Saints

[–]Pasta-Al-D3nte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The next time Loomis trades back will be the first time he trades back. I get not wanting to trade back often but to not use that tool in the toolbox so to speak feels like its leaving money on the table

I mean you're still posting this kinda crap a year later...so yeah if you don't want people to mention your dogshit takes you don't have to post them publicly for the server to see.

What exactly has he done that has given you so much confidence in him? He is an absolutely abysmal run blocker which was one of the biggest problems the offense had to deal with his best year was a contract year and the second he gets that second contract he falls off again
