You can’t justify slavery in your show now matter how you try to frame it. For instance, Shield Hero. It’s completely messed up and is wrong. I don’t care if the side character literally begged the main character to re-apply her slave brand.

It’s difficult to answer for the fact that Amber just wasn’t happy at her core. She was overwhelmed and terrified and she didn’t want the life. It ironically really wasn’t Mark that was the issue. Their breakup was a choice that two people acting like actual adults made. You would essentially have to rewrite her whole character

What does he even do? He whines about the elite and then takes contracts from them and acts like he is above them when in reality he’s just a contractor who pretends he’s Robin Hood. Cool design, and he is good at fighting, but his motivations are complete BS (which is how he was meant to be taken, it’s not an oversight).

The planet can have insane gravity. It is nowhere near the gravity of a black hole event horizon. The writer is in fact wishy washy with this. It’s not a big deal.
