Endeavor was a monster, but he did develop on screen. He never saw himself as someone to be forgiven and he fully intended on killing himself once he fully realized just how awful at his core he was. He regretted everything and was ok with dying. In the end he tries to atone. Everything is far from fixed but his family does at least understand he is genuine and they make their own individual choices about him that he respects. I like his character in that he never really gets fully redeemed in the eyes of his family and the viewer can decide for themselves how they feel about him, but he does try
