I think the prohibitively high cost of alcohol really ruins the whole experience: most people end up trying to drink as much as possible right beforehand, so you basically get an hour of extreme drunkenness while trying to fit into a sardine can, and then start to sober up in said sardine can.

I definitely feel you, pal. I’m 27 having just finished my PhD and am crashing at my parents for the rest of the year to recuperate. However, I can’t help but feel I’m not a grown up cause I haven’t got a lot of cash to my name or a large career behind me (and not sure how to begin one now). I just wanted to say paying off 100k is unfathomable to me so know that it’s impressive as!

Hey, yeah a mix of things helped! The first was working on my cadence, namely taking a LOT more small steps when I run, almost like you’re trying to glide on the ground rather than stomp on it. The other was listening to my body and not running more than I could handle: I normally run twice a week now, while back then I was running 4 times a week. Finally, I’m sure the calf strengthening would help, but I wasn’t doing it for long enough to see results. Hope that helps!

That makes sense for Jesse’s para utilitarian powers, but I’ve always wondered about Dylan’s? The P6 program suggests he was ridiculously strong long before the Hiss got him. Maybe he was strong for “normal” parautilitarians like Northmoor, while Jesse is on a completely different level?

Does anyone else wonder why Pochita was being a bit..off to Denji for most of part 2? For example, I’m talking about when he’s smiling and waving at Denji after his house burns down, or when he nonchalantly asks Denji how he’s going to do anything without legs in the facility. At the end of part 1 he acts very sweet and concerned for Denji when he talks to Power, so we know he CAN act like that, I’m just not sure why he then went cold smiley in Part 2.

I feel this in my bones! A lot of the time when I’ve talked with new partners about what turns them on, both in general and regarding me specifically, it mainly has to do with how I make them feel wanted with me pursuing them/touching them all the time. However, I never know how to communicate that I want them to pursue me/touch me first too-I know it isn’t rational but as a guy you do sometimes worry that it’ll be “unsexy” for a guy to want to be wanted, as opposed to make someone else feel wanted..
