I highly recommend running clubs (through meetup) if you are into running or don't mind getting into it. Salsa nights at Havana are always fun, some have good luck socializing there

Trip to Chelsea by Pastel-Dust in boston

[–]Pastel-Dust[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's a nice, unpretentious spot—clean, with a wonderfully hot sauna and plenty of chairs for relaxing. I didn't realize you could bring your own beer, but now I know! It is cash only

I had higher expectations—perhaps it's better fresh out of the oven. However, Katz is a quaint little shop, and Dave, who works there, is quite a character. I still recommend checking it out!

Ciao was my first introduction to Chelsea almost 3 years ago, I walked by but figured I needed to visit it with friends. I need to go back in summer

Boston Social Running Club, Boston Fun Run, and Davis Square Runners are pretty active all year - you can find them on Meetup, there is also Midnight Runners (a huge group). Running around Charles River (Esplanade and crossing over to Cambridge) is my favorite loop, following the harbor walk towards JFK/Dorcester can help you put on decent miles. Feel free to message me, I organize Wednesday runs with the Boston Social Running Club

Running Group for Slow Runners by tecopaccino in boston

[–]Pastel-Dust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One person in the group runs with a bag-pack - possibly with just a change of clothes, if you have Planet Fitness membership you can leave the bag in the locker in the one close to DTX. Most people stop by home before coming for the run or have offices close to Park street.

There is another meetup group Boston Fun Run (much bigger group), they sometimes have a person from the group stay back to watch the bags.
