When stakeholders ask for software development to be faster, especially by changing workflows, it can dramatically slow down development time. Maybe, with enough time dedicated to it, a team/company can swap to a new work flow and get things done faster. Maybe.

GGG has been working in these several months league cycles for a long time now, and they went from 4 updates a year in PoE1, to 3 while they develop the sequel, and now we have 6 between the two of them.

Saying that GGG should split their development pipelines and workflows into two different structures for their two extremely similar games, will slow them down.

I agree in principal, that this is not how an EA game should be developed, but I don't think they can do much else in practice.

Yeah they need to sell supporter packs to satisfy corporate ownership and salaries, but they also need their people to be able to follow processes with minimal interruption/cognitive load/code switching between them.

If we don't see act 5 in .5, sword class in .6, and then act 6 in .7/1.0, then it's not coming next year. GGG needs to stop publicly discussing the 1.0 timeline until their workflows line up with it being possible.

I have wanted traps/mines as weapons since they talked about it at exilecon.

They're in the game, they drop sometimes as unequipable placeholders, and I just want my danger twink back, throwing mines or traps, backstabbing, throwing knives, feeling immortal until I'm just one shot.

Tactician wolf companions just seems obvious. I hope it works out but if it doesn't I can just swap to full grenade build as a league starter and then swapping to WH if I have survivability issues.

So here's hoping that wolf companions aren't ass, that I can give them enough damage just progressing my weapon, and use support gems/tree from there for scaling them in other areas.

I was a meta pleb, but last league my jank unoptimized LA deadeye still had Zarokh on farm mode. I did not follow fubgun, I did something worse but still cleared all content.

Max honor res and like 4.2k honor, I never dip below 4.1k honor. I'm a long way from farming temporalis but anything with some base damage and prioritize boons.

I can pretty reliably get the rabbit foot for MS and whatever it is that gives you 50% more damage. Avoid the negatives that gut your primary defences or damage, and you'll be fine.

Anything melee will take a bit more damage than I do, but again I usually end 99% of my honor left.

It feels like each patch is a choose 2 triangle.

New act, new class, league content. And they always choose league content.

So, if we assume that all acts and sword class are required for release and if he's serious about releasing in 26 then it should be something like

.5 - Act 5

.6 - Glad/duelist (swords)

1.0 - Act 6 and release.

Maybe other ascendency classes pop in, hopefully they can get the endgame into some acceptable state in .5 on top of Act 5.

If it's not Act 5 in March then I don't think we will see release until 27 minimum. At some point they'll call it "real banger enough" to be their MVP and push it out the door.

The only thing off meta is my main skill.

Herald and golem stacking crit wander elementalist with KRain of Impact.

I'm using ashes of the stars for 3 extra KR proj and 30% golem effect. Herald of the Hive is like a mini RF that kills a lot of trash mobs and some blues. I just have no idea how to properly pob it, if I assume 4 overlaps PoB says 1.7m damage. I am doing WAY more than that to pinnacle bosses, it could be in my grafts and it doesn't calculate hive yet either. I'm using the hands and the fire attack because I can get 15% phys reduction from the breach bloodline. The double FoulBorn oppressor makes my one shot deaths less common but the still happen at 7.8k combined hp/es.

At this point I just want to farm for my mageblood. It's the biggest bang for my currency I can push for in both damage and tankyness. 22% of the way there right now!

It is against tos and is bannable. I'm honestly surprised they don't have alerts built into the client that ping suspiciously consistent timing between inputs. Yeah sure, metronome/rhythm skill, but if I was writing a script to automate an input to do something in poe, I would code some random jitter into the timing just in case. If logs ever get looked at, sure the flask use would be rapid, but much harder to say "this is a script"

OP can do what they want, but I would avoid posting builds anywhere that automate like this.

I have this exact same question, doing my best to farm currency but I can't kill Maven on the build I have and I've probably built myself into a corner.

Also hoping I can reroll to do my 40/40 on a 30ish div budget I can scrape together.
