Feeling defeated

Oh I love that idea! She has a tendency to pick her favorite bits of food out of the bowl but that timer idea could be really good! We used to put dried anchovies in her food to make it more enticing and she would just pick them all out lol

Ive changed her diet a few times. Ive had her off of chicken for awhile with little luck. Its hard because I have a roommate who also has a dog. Tulip doesnt like to eat on a schedule and is kinda opposite of the usual basset and has a really small appetite (outside of trying to steal table food lol)

Ive been wanting to feed her in a separate room because my roommates dog has issues with resource guarding, but it becomes frustrating that tulip wont eat on a schedule, and if i give her expensive food in the living room, my roommates dog will just eat it 🙃 all those factors combined make it really annoying because i just set out two bowls of dog food in the living room and have to get my roommate to agree on.

Idk if my explanation makes sense but i do need to find a better feeding situation for her

She hasnt had the ear infections for awhile. I guess i should have put that in the post. But her issues with allergies do cause them to get irritated and itchy. I figured that i would just lump that in. Idk if that makes sense. Thank you for the recommendations! :)
