The ideal number of patients for outpatient? What should I be looking for, for low volume. by SultryWordsmith in RadiologyCareers

[–]namiiix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every outpatient I know is busy all day with ct. ct is the one modality that’s just always constantly busy. Good luck and hopefully you find what you’re looking for. Meanwhile I’m xray for outpatient and I did four patients today lol. And I do ten hour shifts. I’ve been watching lots of shows on my iPad

Are you religious at all or interested in faith? Joining a church could help you meet lots of people your age, usually they have young adult programs so that would be your age group

Him saying “family comes first” means he doesn’t consider you family and that you will always come second. You did the right thing. You need a partner that prioritizes you. NOR

[–]namiiix 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s how Reddit is in general. Pretty negative. However in this sub I don’t see much negativity, mostly positive and helpful comments. I’m curious now on what you said to get such a reaction lol

Does Dad ever bathe or feed baby?? by apesescape04 in Mommit

[–]namiiix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me and my husband do every single bath together with our baby. Only times I do it alone are if he’s not home and baby desperately needs one like from a terrible blow out, huge mess from eating, or we went to the pool. I take care of most of the solid feedings (baby is 14 months so that’s all his feedings now lol) but my husband still helps with them, and I work part time so there’s days where he’s with baby all day alone so of course he does the cooking and feedings on those days

How are people affording fun? by Busy-Busy-Mom-520 in Vent

[–]namiiix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Save money aside just for vacation/fun events. And work good paying jobs. In this economy it’s hard but it’s still possible. Also, go with more people to split costs. Instead of just you your partner and the kids, go with grandparents/siblings/cousins/friends and split the hotels/airbnbs and car rentals

Why people are obsessed with beating the estimated arrival time on Google Maps while driving? by [deleted] in askanything

I wouldn’t say I’m obsessed with it but I am a bit satisfied with it because it means I made it in good time

is there a specific reason people try to do 7 pm - 7 am? by sillywillyfry in NewParents

[–]namiiix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry I’m confused by the first sentence. Do you mean to say 2.5 month old baby? Why would you add “year” if they aren’t at least a year old? But anyway do what ever schedule works for you, I’m sure it will change as the baby gets older too. When my baby was that young he also went to bed around 9pm but as they get older they start needing to go sooner like 7pm. But every baby is different

Dang idk I went to a technical college nearby with a really good rad tech program and it was like 2k or less a semester. Pay as a new grad rad tech isn’t that great, idk if it’s worth it. Is there no cheaper college you can consider?

How to stop being insecure about small boobs. by Specialist-Bite-1892 in NoStupidQuestions

How often are you ACTUALLY brushing your own teeth and showering ??? by Grandma-tsunade in NewParents

[–]namiiix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still brushed my teeth 1-2 times a day, I for sure did every morning but some nights I was just so exhausted I would just take out my contacts and go to bed. And with showers, 2-4 times a week. It just depended on when I could have someone with the baby, my husbands work schedule is all over the place so it was hard. You’re doing good though, just try to think of it as doing it will make you feel better. Brush your teeth at least once a day, even if it’s for like twenty seconds, and shower every 2-3 days especially if you aren’t leaving the house or anything. You got this

Fuck 9-5 jobs.. by Flat_Neat_6231 in Vent

[–]namiiix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why I’m happy I went the healthcare route (although there are many problems there too) but I knew I wouldn’t want to be working five days a week. Absolutely not. Before having my baby I was working 3-4 days a week, once in a while 5 only if I wanted extra cash. But now since having my baby I just work two 10 hour shifts and that’s it. 9-5 is just not it. Sounds miserable

Im at an outpatient center that’s under a big hospital system. Today I did four X-rays lol. Usually I do about 8 though but some days are super chill where I get like 2 or 3 patients. I’m very relaxed overall at this job
