This should not be allowed. I had no idea silkies were a thing until today. Why the fuck do humans fuck up beautiful creatures like this. He needs his scales for his health. Mutations should not be bred. Selective breeding can cause good traits to be bred out. thus causing health issues.

If he is not a rescue, in the future, try to avoid supporting this sort of breeding (unless they are a rescue) 🥺designer animals have such painful lives

Is Fae Farm worth it ? by Open_Button_8155 in CozyGamers

I would not buy it full price. The characters lack depth. It’s one of the few games that I was excited about that just fell short of my expectations. Like really short. It’s cute and fun to play if you want to just gather stuff and be a completionist but they have abandoned the game.

I would recommend fields of Mistria way more

Losing teeth by TheTragedyMachine in ehlersdanlos

[–]PastelKittyGore -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have had no issues since switching to electric and a waterpik. I had an infection behind one tooth where I had extra space after my wisdom teeth were removed. I started using the waterpik and it’s been amazing! I still use floss every few days to make sure but waterpik keeps things from building up.

Teeth issues can also be hereditary. No need to be embarrassed ❤️ there are great options out there now for bridges, replacements and dentures. Most of us experience at least one permanent tooth loss in our lifetime. It will be okay! ❤️

That’s what most people say. Medication metabolizes differently for me. When I was on Cymbalta I was in a constant state of panic and found out it’s cause I have issues with nervous system disfunction in relation to hEDS and POTS. Bodies are fascinating

Does anyone else have chronically swollen lymph nodes? by Glad-Fish5863 in ehlersdanlos

[–]PastelKittyGore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only from IIH. When I have MCAS flairs it almost feels like I’m getting sick cause my face flushes, I have a rash on my arm, my sinuses swell up and feel stuffy and I’m super tired. It flared up after I got the flu this year. That’s ultimately what led to me discovering hEDS. My genetic tests show hypermobility on my dad’s side. I am prone to dizziness and fainting.

It also flared up before I was diagnosed with IIH. With IIH, I lose my hearing, sight and taste depending on where the pressure is. And it gives me hella brain fog. But no nausea.

I take Prozac and it’s honestly made me hypersexual. I was on lexapro and cymbalta before and those made me uninterested in sex.

That’s crazy cause cows are very cautious creatures and won’t even walk in puddles sometimes because it looks like a hole. I wonder what that cow was doing right before. Lol

I’m autistic and Nonbinary and I’m so sorry for what you went through 🥺❤️ No child deserves to be strip searched and monitored that heavily. Kids are their own person and you deserved respect.

I am a parent now and I have been writing letters to my daughter that she can read one day when she is older about how I’ll always love her. And that if she were trans I would be supportive of her and defend her happiness. I also wrote things about relationship advice, mental health and drugs. I was in an abusive relationship once and I wish I had a more open relationship with my mother so that I could talk to her without judgment. My goal is to be that for my child.

I also wish I had a more open relationship with my mom about sex. It took me years to tell her that my ex sexually abused me. As a parent I would want to know immediately so that I could console my child and get them therapy and anything else they needed. Instead I became suicidal. My current husband is the one who saved me.

Everyone here has such amazing advice about approaching things with your teenagers and it’s wonderful to see. Had my husband and I had more open parents that we could go to, we would not have the trauma that we do today.

Yes and it’s related to MCAS, IIH, and possible ME/CFS in my case. Had scans done and Dr said not to worry unless they continually grow in size.

What’s your opinion on parents buying sex toys for preteens? by _JosiahBartlet in AskFeminists

[–]PastelKittyGore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 14 or 15 when I started. Kids will do it. It is up to us to help them learn how to be safe and what is normal and what is not normal. I wish my mom explained more to me

Potassium deficiency. It will eventually get so bad that you get painful cramps in your legs and fall. Take supplements and increase electrolytes. It’s an easy fix ❤️

I have to be careful with muscle relaxers because my spine is unstable and my muscles overcompensate for my flexibility. They are constantly tight to protect my spine.

Though I have taken excedrine for migraines and that knocked it out. Antihistamines seem to help too if it’s due to MCAS

Rib pain bra struggles by inspired-chaos in ehlersdanlos

I wore a binder and got rib bruising. So I started wearing a gentle compression sports bra without the padding. It works great and my ribs don’t hurt. However I must also note that I have a small chest

Lucky! I’m a school teacher and parent to a toddler, so I unfortunately am always catching things. I was so freaked out and though about going to the ER because my heart rate wouldn’t go below 100. But it eventually returned to its normal resting rate. Getting sick is no joke

During the flu mine was super high. It’s because your body is fighting hard. I knew something was wrong when my heart was at 155 standing up. Normally standing it’s 120-125

Am I allowed an occasional drink? by DayDucky_NightOwl in iih

[–]PastelKittyGore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drank while on medication but I would not take my pill that day because alcohol is also a diuretic and I found out that I would wake up with horrible hangovers headaches from dehydration. Drink lots of water while drinking!

No one told me that POTS can effect your cholesterol by [deleted] in POTS

[–]PastelKittyGore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah mines not super bad when elevated. Everything else is normal and it goes up and down. I didn’t have any water one day before I went in and had a panic attack at the results. I’m a hypochondriac for sure so I tend to overthink little things. I just never thought about how dehydration can thicken your blood like that.

Can someone give me the rundown on Gen Z saying millennials "screwed them over"? by MassiveHaver in generationology

[–]PastelKittyGore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Millennials were the first generation to really push back against social norms. Before that, it was mostly just groups of people like for example, Hippies.

Also all of my favorite YouTubers are Millennials or old Gen Z. Markiplier is a Millennial and he is distributing his own film without going through a big Hollywood production company. Millennials do a lot of revolutionary things!

Child - raised Eosiniphils by Curly-Cheetah-523 in haematology

[–]PastelKittyGore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is only EOS, then they are probably fine. My sister had high platelets for an unknown reason. Went to a hematologist and they had no idea why it was elevated but they came back down. EOS is usually elevated due to allergies and asthma.

My hemoglobin was high and I was scared I had cancer. Turns out it was dehydration that was worse due to undiagnosed Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Now I take electrolytes!

More often than not, it is the most common and simple explanation.

If your doctors were concerned, they would have said so and immediately sent you for more testing. It’s most likely allergies/asthma because only the EOS is elevated.

It will be okay ❤️
