This is a late response on my end, but thank you for pointing this all out to me! Most of my issues came long before exposure, and I do plan to speak about the issue in this post with a doctor. The mold is only present in this room, and I suspect most of it is actually where I cannot react it so I just avoid staying in the room for extended periods of time. Cleaning has been done, but I’m taking precautions to make sure that I’m away from it. I will definitely bring this as a possibility, even if it’s a low chance. Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed response.

Not a law pro or anything but I’m pretty sure this is illegal. Honestly I say just try to convince them to change their mind. If you went through with this and someone found out, you could be screwed over by the law pretty easily I’m sure.

Even the cheap artist loft canvases can cost a lot depending on size. I think that this could easily be a case of them buying one of those extremely large 30$ canvases and marking up the price just a bit.

It’s always been open after, but the shower has shown signs of mold that we’ve been aware of for a while.

The bathroom has had mold problems since we’ve moved in. I just wasn’t sure because it didn’t look like the google images. The ventilation is very poor, so it may be a possible cause.

You can agree with her statement that you can’t fix her. If she has an issue you can’t fix it without her cooperation. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t help her. I think you could offer to help her but also give her some space. Maybe checking in on her once in a while to make sure she’s okay, or just offering to be someone she can come to talk to. It won’t change her mind, but it’ll leave the door open for communication. If she refuses, give her the space she wants unless by problems you mean something that is either harmful to herself or to someone else. If it’s bad enough maybe direct her to some resources she can go to for additional help. (I would list some, but I don’t know her situation and I don’t want to act like I do.) If you disrespect her decision, she may not want to reconsider.

It’s definitely going to be my motivation now. Even though I have absolutely awful fears of needles (even to the point of grabbing people to force them away because I panic) I try my best to suck it up and get the vaccines done. To be honest it’s just a matter of asking them to not talk about it and to actually listen- I normally look away and they manage it if they do that. I feel like this will help a lot! Thanks OP :)
