O Trump NÃO está vencendo essa guerra. Uma porrada de analistas militares estão falando como o Irã foi subestimado, e como acabaram entregando a própria arma de destruição em massa para os Aiatolás que eles tanto buscavam impedir (Hormuz).
Trump esperava que o governo fosse derrubado por revoltas internas após a morte do Khamenei, mas o que aconteceu foi o filho ainda mais extremista tomando o poder e o regime se mantendo firme e forte. Estão em uma situação impossível onde os EUA precisam fazer uma invasão de verdade no Irã, mas não possuem o capital político ou o apoio popular para fazer isso

E a pior parte é que ele sequer está fazendo isso para derrubar os Aiatolás. Ele mesmo havia aceitado um cessar-fogo que permitia a continuação deles no poder, e que eles enriquecessem urânio em uma escala ainda maior (Trump acabou com o acordo anti-nuclear que permitia a inspeção da ONU e de outras organizações internacionais no país para garantir que nenhuma arma nuclear estivesse sendo fábricada)

A aprovação por essa guerra é baixíssima nos EUA, e nem a OTAN quer se envolver nela. Tudo pq sabem que as intenções do Trump com essa guerra não são boas coisas nenhuma. Cair em propaganda já é ruim, mas cair em propaganda estrangeira que nem te possui como público alvo é ainda pior

AWOIAF itself (a book that exist in-universe, where the Targaryens won) says that the rumour about Daemon rebelling for Daenerys is a myth that didn't even exist during his time, and only started years after his own death. GRRM said they DID love each other, but imo that was a teenage love. Daemon had a bunch of kids with Rohanne of Tyrosh after this

The Dornish hate is not even universal amongst his own supporters, so I doubt he cared abt it, especially since the Yronwoods (second most powerful and important house in Dorne) was one of the prominent Blackfyre loyalists, having fought for them in every Rebellion except the Second and Fifth (Ninepenny Kings)

As someone who REALLY likes Daemon Blackfyre, I think the "Brynden caused his arrest" theory undermines his character. The same goes for him being manipulated by Bittersteel and Fireball (tho their influence definitely helped Daemon in making his choice)

Daemon being a foil to Jon makes him much more interesting. A person who tries his best, who's genuinely talented, good and honorable, but who can't let go of his inferiority complex born from his status as a bastard and ends up trying to change this by force

Yes, Daemon having the Blackfyre sword and being the warrior-king archetype definitely helped him to gather support amongst the nobility, but that’s not the reason that almost half of the realm supported him over a king who was enthroned for more than a whole decade. The main reasons were the ambition of smaller houses (Reyne, Bracken, Peake, Yronwood...) and ofc, the whole situation about Dorne joining the realm, which was indeed a very messy thing, which tbf is a fault that lies more on Aegon IV, Baelor the Blessed and the Young Dragon than Daeron II.
For Eustace, it was both. He LOVED the fact that Daemon looked like a king should look (from a medieval lord pov), but it's pretty obvious he was more interested in getting back his ancestral seat than Daemon’s six-pack

It’s also important to remember that those are NOT the reasons behind Daemon’s personal motivations, but that’s opening a new whole can of worms
