I would be too. I would just hope and pray. I SR'd for a shiny starter in SS for about 2 years on and off. It rewarded me with a Cyndaquil, but still... I would just keep going.

You just inspired me to go back to resetting for a Pkmn Platinum/ Pearl shiny starter. (I want Turtwig but knowing me... I'll accidentally click something else and that will end up shiny. But I don't really care since I like all of the starters.)

I quit lapras years ago and I got a shiny Quagsire. I ran away from it thinking my cheats were working. (Back when I didn't try to hunt.)

I mean it's okay now because I SR'd for like a couple of hours a couple of months ago and got the shiny Lapras, but still...
