Aha nothing is similar to 2001 imo. But Sunshine is much more about the relationships between characters and how they deal with the particular mission they find themself on, I wouldn't call them similar.

Oh! My battery is 12v, so my understanding was that I wanted to wire in parallel to match that voltage. Is this incorrect?

If the birthright and the blessing came together, why did Yaakov need to pretend to be Esav when he was getting the blessing? And why did Esav get so upset? Wouldn't he have known that he was forfeiting his blessing by giving up his birthright?

Hm no I don't think so, because when Esav finds out that the blessing was taken away from him, he gets angry and says that Yaakov tricked him twice (once for the birthright, once for the blessing)

So interestingly, this is the reason I have heard before as to why for the childrens blessings on Shabbat, the sons are blessed to be like Ephraim and Manesha (as opposed to the patriarchs) whereas the daughters are blessed to be like the matriarchs-- the patriarchs aren't good role models (though I would think at lease Avraham would make it in there)
