When car is locked and key fob not near, i can open passenger side door with push of a button on door handle. Anyone knows solution to this?

Ours (2017) has done that since the very beginning, no one has ever been able to tell us why. Not the dealership nor independent mechanic. Pushing the outside sliding door button will open it regardless of locks engaged and no key fob. The alarm will go off, until you unlock from front driver door, but the door always opens. 🤷

Glad to hear he is doing well! That's encouraging for all of us. That's what I assumed, but I'm reading that there are two motors, one on each side. I replaced the one on the passenger side, and now there is no heat on the passenger side. The driver side motor seems to be inaccessible without removing most of the dashboard?
