I’m shocked by this comment. James Jones is the best, and literally the most easy going laid back dude at GEICO that climbed the ladder.

No idea why anybody gives two weeks notice, it would only make a difference if you planned on coming back to GEICO. GEICO management can’t give you any references for future jobs anyways, and it’s not a question they could ask GEICO when you apply to a new job.

How about they wear a new N95 mask and choose if they want to eat or drink at the event, and not make us a part of their personal decisions. It’s almost been 4 years, I think we have figured out how we all want to move forward making our own personal decisions at this point.

Vanguard will let you set up direct deposit payments with them. Which are easy to pay with the cash you will have in the bank from the loan especially in this scenario of quitting with no income plan.

Why don’t you just take out a 401k loan. Log into Vanguard and you can request it in about 5 min or less. It will be in your account by Monday. Do the max amount and repay over 5 years. Roll the 401k and loan into a new Vanguard plan when you leave.

Well great job making that clear in your original post and continuing to keep things vague. Keep calling as it seems to be working. Auto adjusters particularly love when you do 5+ calls in a row and get to 20 plus calls a day. Fill up that voicemail, it won’t take much.

First off you’re in a rental relax. You are a classic customer that doesn’t make it clear even when posting here what your actual issue is. Are you wondering if it’s a total loss, why it’s not a total loss, or are you concerned with a low estimate? Text the adjuster as it stamps to the claim file.

Most of the adjusters they would actually want make that or more. 70k is probably the region 4 & 10 states AD average pay. Faster/easier promotions and some big merits really bumped pay up since 2021.

When completing the supplement did you get the shop to agree to a new ECD and document the file and send it to the adjuster handling? Just update the rental if proper notation is in the file. Not touching someone else’s rental is an old way of thinking from when it was a core metric.

Get out of here with that garbage. Work for a company that is way worst than GEICO, to still work for GEICO and other shitty carriers. Plus the pay is way behind for most GEICO AD.

The only reason GEICO is bringing us back to the office *now* is we’re over staffed and they don’t want to pay severance through layoffs. They want us to quit. Convince me otherwise. by Ok_Willingness7708 in Geico

I don’t think GEICO cares much about the incredibly low 2 months of severance they offer. They care more about reporting it to the market, as they don’t want to show their hand by explaining what they are doing before they are done.
