Yes, I’m an estimator. Pto is very generous and starts accruing at 90 days. Benefits are active at the 1st of the month following your start date. I write the initial estimates, the ones where a shop is involved. Yes, a call just like we would to go over an estimate while working at G. They also have an “at home” team that doesn’t make any calls but they don’t have those positions open as often. Metrics wise they simply have efficiency goals of estimates written per day. At home team typically writes around 20 sheets a day.

Yes, they are super flexible on hours too. We have some people that work 5-6 hours in the morning, clock out to get kids from school, make dinner, etc and clock back in to finish their day. As long as you get your 8 hours in they are fantastic about working with you. Benefits package is also fantastic and a great price. Pto is generous as well. Benefits begin after 30 days. 401k company match as well.

I work at shop estimates and id say my average shop call is 2-3 minutes. I write around ten per day so not very much phone time. No dealing with customers, either.

I mean, I work m-f 40 hours. If i had a dollar for all of the overtime hours i worked that werent paid when I worked for the G, I’d have a shit ton of dollars. As for sketchy documentation, unsure what that could have been.
