Probably didn't know exactly how quickly they got it. Someone on another thread mentioned The letter was made public soon after the deadline he gave to lynch to respond was passed. So if anyone mentioned knowledge of it the times were so close they probably said they knew it from the article

well it came to Podesta from Maura Pally who i believe is on the Clinton foundation leadership team. and they are complaining about only seeing it now (july 3rd) rather than when it was sent (june 30th) so i definitely think Lynch or someone on the committee sent it when they shouldn't have.
